Agree edam and all other sensible non-weirdos on this thread.

Penthesileia · 18/01/2009 21:29

Yes, you're right, bollockbrain - we should all do things because of what other people might think...

siriusmewsaysochayethenoo · 18/01/2009 21:29

Why is a hairless fanjo supposed to be better? It's winter shouldn't we keep all the hair for warmth? I do! I'm too lazy to trim and to wussy to wax!

nkf · 18/01/2009 21:29

Is it just me or does anyone think there is something a bit creepy about a bunch of women looking at another woman's public area and jeering at her pubic hair? Why are you doing this?

RiaParkinson · 18/01/2009 21:30

i do not garden my ladybits at all but still think that is very hairy

Sophable agree

prefer natural anywhich way

hellymelly · 18/01/2009 21:31

I think its a relief to see a 70's style bush for a change.I am a celt so not terribly hairy but I leave mine alone and I swear at my last gym I was the only one there with a lady garden not a lady window box.

bringmeashrubbery · 18/01/2009 21:31

I think most of us aren't jeering, and the discussion is interesting...

tumtumtetum · 18/01/2009 21:32

Aha sirius I can answer that.

Hairless is better so that when having sex with random strangers in unlikely situations they can better see what they are doing and it's more interesting for the camera.

PartOfTheHumphreysGroup · 18/01/2009 21:32

Public area

bollockbrain · 18/01/2009 21:32

i never wear a skirt either, or thongs,, but i have said the thought of anuthing like that happening makes me cringe anyway.

as for the dd lady gardening question, i dont think that is relevant. I would not dream of 'gettng my daughter to start'

bringmeashrubbery · 18/01/2009 21:33

Anyway, could ponder the merit's of pubic hair all night but I'm tired so I'll leave you ladies to it - night night

paolosgirl · 18/01/2009 21:34

I'm also not convinced that there is a slightly questionnable issue of no hair = pre-pubescent girls, which may appeal to some viewers of these films.

Furball · 18/01/2009 21:34

if you zoom in - and lok at her legs - they too are rather hairy

siriusmewsaysochayethenoo · 18/01/2009 21:35

Oh Shit is that why I never pull? Darn it!

tumtumtetum · 18/01/2009 21:35

But if it's a normal thing that any self-respecting woman does (was thinking more of babybaby's gross comment) then surely it's something to get the girl-children doing when they hit puberty.

To say not means that it is not about hygeine/look ect as many argue but all about sex and particularly the aesthetic that has come from pornography (hairless pneumatic women).

Molesworth · 18/01/2009 21:35

what a load of bollocks

agree with sophable et al

oooh doesn't she look MARVELLOUS

what a fab pic

AuntieMaggie · 18/01/2009 21:37

And my DP thought my fair haired unkempt lady garden was hairy....

bollockbrain · 18/01/2009 21:38
Grin
Lio · 18/01/2009 21:39

I think it is a beautiful picture and would guess that her pubic hair is prob v normal.

bookthief · 18/01/2009 21:41

The point is, you don't get to see fanjos like this very often because the ladies who usually put them on display have to wax bare as part of their contract.

It's normal to look like this. Especially if you've got dark hair and are of Mediterranean descent. Why are all these grown women taking grooming tips from Men Only? God, I couldn't be arsed.

pooka · 18/01/2009 21:42

She had an amazing body. Think she looks beautiful, rather like a nude statue. THe shock at the hair is because hairlessness has become strangely normalised.

Threadworm · 18/01/2009 21:42

She looks wonderful. I find it really astonishing and depressing that so many of you don't seem to accept the way she looks as beautiful and normal.

It is pitiable to imitate some pornographic fiction about the female body.

VanillaPumpkin · 18/01/2009 21:42

I don't wear thongs and wouldn't give a shit if someone nursed me in hospital and 'laughed' at my pubic hair. Really? That worries you??
My friend is a nurse and I know she would probably comment to a colleague , but then I think her landing strip is equally odd.
