We've done the nasty, horrid ones, who would you be happy to go down the pub with?

'millionaire' Paul Daniels.

Very nice but a bit creepy, took my watch off in a unasked for trick.....

Boy George LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY
Peter Tatchell - utterly fabulous really liked him a lot.
dh has never recovered from meeting v briefly through work:
Courtney Cox
Greta Scacci and
Helen Mirren

The last kissed him and he still sometimes rubs his cheek and gets a faraway look about it!!

belcantwait · 14/10/2008 15:45

ade edmonson and jennifer saunders.
used yto sell them lots of furniture.
she would always be in the back of their tatty old estate sweeping out the boot to load it in!

'met' chris martin about 5 yrs ago on a train station. he was v nice. i had no idea who he was!

MrsMattie · 14/10/2008 15:46

Also met Clive Owen briefly and he was lovely@Habbibu . He was also lush , and incredibly polite and sweet. He even blushed a little bit at one point. Endearing

Tony & Cherie Blair - she was really down to earth and funny and lovely. Nothing like how she is protrayed in the media. He wasn't very relaxed and personable and strangely attractive in the flesh

MrsMattie · 14/10/2008 15:46

Sorry, he was very relaxed and personable!

ipanemagirl · 14/10/2008 15:49

oooooo mrs mattie,

Clive mmmmmmmmmm he's LOVELY!!!

ipanemagirl · 14/10/2008 15:50

CorpseBrideOfJohnCusack, he was a TOTAL flirt (swoooooon) but only spoke to him once!

But the worst worst worst flirt of ALL time was Alan Clark - tried to get him on a programme once (I only called him on the phone!) and he was Shocking!

slug · 15/10/2008 10:27

Jarvis Cocker is a very nice bloke. But then I always encountered him sitting on our couch because his flatmate's girlfriend was one of my flatmates. In those circumstances its a bit hard to do the "I'm a sleb" bit.

Alan Yentob is a nice bloke, as was David Lange (ex NZ Prime Minister)

jeee · 15/10/2008 10:31

Are the point of these threads to make us plebs who've never met any slebs feel completely

CorpseBrideOfJohnCusack · 15/10/2008 10:37

Yes. Yes they are

ipanemagirl · 15/10/2008 15:03

lol CBJC!

suzywong · 15/10/2008 15:06

Dave Grohl always my top choice
I always say that but it's true.

lou33 · 15/10/2008 16:54

oh dont remind me of our chat wong

Thomcat · 15/10/2008 17:00

Shared a late night bottle of Brandy with Jade Jagger the other night. We chatted for hours about being mums, she's lovely.

Terence Stamp - I wanted to adopt him as my uncle, spent the day with him for a work thing, he was so lovely

Jimi Mistry - seen him out lots (used to be in Eastenders and East is East)

Ditto Chris Bisson but subsitute Stenders for Corrie. Spent a day with him too.

Johnathan Ross - chatted to him for ages. He was so funny and chatty and friendly. Not sure if he was non - celebby, he is the way he is, but doesn't seem to turn it on & off iykwim. His agent on the other hand was a knob!

lou33 · 15/10/2008 17:05

she stitched me up on ebay for a pair of uggs tc

lou33 · 15/10/2008 17:08

well that was the contact name of the person who took my money and never sent the boots or replied to my emails, anyway. Took me weeks to get my money back.

i guess it could have been someone using that name, but that was the name i was given, so am not too keen on her as you can imagine

Spillage21 · 15/10/2008 17:16

... a former flatmate told me that the scary guy from The Prodigy smelt nice and was very polite!

Thomcat · 15/10/2008 20:27

Sorry to hear that Lou. Think it's unlikely Jade would be selling on ebay under her own name tbh but I guess you never know. She doesn't really need the money though and is more likely to have given her Uggs to charity or a mate ???????????????? Annnnnyyyyway.........

nolongeraworriedmummy · 15/10/2008 20:29

The nicest celeb I have ever met is Mark Owen from take that, total and complete sweetheart! So down to earth and unstarry.

norksinmywaistband · 15/10/2008 20:30

lucykate · 15/10/2008 20:35

lou33 · 15/10/2008 21:57

they were unworn and brand new, i dunno all i can go by was the info i was given

Flossyjim · 16/10/2008 22:07

Stephen Fry - lovely but not as funny irl. Scarily intelligent (we talked about Wagner for 2 hours)
Paul Merton - also lovely, asked me to hold his ears
Geoff Hurst - really nice bloke. Let me hold the World Cup (real one, not a replica) - was v.excited
Tess Daly - bit of a cow. V.arrogant.
Gok Wan - lovely, lovely, lovely. Have his mobile number in my phone
Jill Halfpenny - completely down to earth and nice.
Camilla Dallerup - very very skinny irl but also lovely
Chico - nice but huge flirt and assumes everybody wants his autograph
Anton du Beke - just as you expect him to be.
Floella Benjamin - nice but a little aloof.
Anna Raeburn - love her, see her a lot.
BBC Breakfast presenters - they are all lovely, particularly Bill Turnbull. See them a fair bit when I do interviews on the show.

seeker · 20/10/2008 13:47

Julian Clary's lovely.
