We've done the nasty, horrid ones, who would you be happy to go down the pub with?

MadameCastafiore · 11/10/2008 19:18

Zoe bird from Marias programme is lovely - she comes from next village to ours and is sooo nice and Nick Hancock is a great guy too.

thegrowlygus · 11/10/2008 19:20

My sister met David Beckham in Manchester Harvery Nichols. She was browsing in the perfume section and so was he. She asked for his autograph for her footie mad son. She said he was lovely.

ohdearwhatamess · 11/10/2008 19:22

Paul Merton.

JK Rowling, just after book 2 was published. Wonder if she is still the same now though.

Lionstar · 11/10/2008 19:30

Ohhh I'd second Andy Serkis, and this was post Gollum - but he was still lovely and chatted away about my bump and his kids.

And Rik Mayall held a door open for me once when I had my hands full

I am having a flush just at the thought!

spicemonster · 11/10/2008 19:46

Ian McKellan who stopped to ask me if I was alright when I was sitting on some steps in Chelsea after the flower show because my feet hurt!

Cerys Matthews is lovely. Danny Dyer is sweet. Madonna has always been very polite.

funnypeculiar · 11/10/2008 19:53

Jonathon Dimbleby (OK, sleb may not be quite the right word) - I had to interview him & he was charming, thoughtful & behaved as if I was asking intelligent & insightful questions, which I sooo wasn't

BigBadMousey · 11/10/2008 19:54

Ray Winstone
Keifer Sutherland
Brian May
Clive Mantle

All very nice

Julian Richards is lovely too but not sure he counts as a sleb

lou33 · 11/10/2008 22:34

the woman who played honey in eastenders lives in my village, and she is lovely

Bubble99 · 11/10/2008 22:38

Ronnie Wood. He's bought me a few drinks.

Also Julie Walters. Definitely does what it says on the tin.

lou33 · 11/10/2008 22:41

my sister and her h are good friends with ronnie wood

vonsudenfed · 11/10/2008 22:43

Carol Smillie - genuinely nice person without a single air or grace to her. Only ever puts her foot down about going home to her family at the end of the day, which you can't really argue with.

Bubble99 · 11/10/2008 22:44

He's a good bloke.

When he lived in Richmond his local was mine.

I particularly loved the way his wife would sweep the room with her eyes for any likely threats when she came to meet him there. Her eyes never rested on me, though.

AccidentalMum · 11/10/2008 22:50

Danny Baker and Martin Clunes lovely with fab taste in wine.
Johnny Vegas so so lovely.
Chris Evans horrific, hyper and creepy.
Chris Morris seemingly painfully shy.

They have stood out.

snowleopard · 11/10/2008 23:05

I've met Paxo! He was very sweet and kind and witty, not at all interrogatory.

ScottishMummy · 11/10/2008 23:11

michael greco regular down to earth parent
michelle collins lovely Great big Big doggy too
Noel Gallagher down to earth, nice manners
lorraine kelly literally bird next door

BUT kate winslett appalling me-me-me lil squawker

lou33 · 11/10/2008 23:20

tara fitzgerald, lovely lovely person

bandgeek · 12/10/2008 20:18

Jools Holland. Have met him a couple of times and he is lovely

PillockOfTheCommunity · 12/10/2008 20:36

I'd have to disagree with Accidentalmum, I met Chris Evans and he was really lovely and excellent at entertaining small children, really patient. Danny Baker, who I met at the same time, was dreadful. He wouldn't speak to anyone that wasn't a sleb and seemed to hate children!

southeastastra · 12/10/2008 20:37

the bloke who was the partner of the first gay in eastenders, think his name was gary.

he used to give us lifts to clubs

ipanemagirl · 12/10/2008 23:03

I spoke to Paxo once on the phone and he was SUCH a flirt.

CorpseBrideOfJohnCusack · 12/10/2008 23:17

i can't get any further than jake gyllenhaal

swoony at ipa and paxo though, I bet he is a total flirt
