Hi im posting here due to concerns about a local path way i live near.its a lovely community we have local dog walkers go down the path just a lovely little place for a walk.however we have some lovely cats who have pitched up home there to lol.now there was this one lady walking her dog i was on the bench down the path with 2 of the local cats the lady took the dog of the lead as if she was intitsing it to go for the cats .as i walked back then to leave the path she then does it again and winds tje cats up saying doggy on the lose cats watch out .the cats ran off in fear of this dog being let off the lead now this womans response to all this was"i have to do this or she wll have my arm off and pull me"well im sorry but if the dog can cause that much injury to you what the hell could it do to the poor cats.am i right in wanting to report this to my local council?

If 'everyone in your area' agrees with you, why make a post here about it?

As someone else said

' To sum up.
This happened on a coastal, woodland path in a massive land of woods, besides which there are bushes with barbed wire and roads..
The path leads to Tescos which is why OP is on the path.'

You haven't said where the coast is in relation to the houses and ' massive land of woods '

There's definitely a bit of bullying going on here.

We don't need to know the exact location of everything to understand what OP is saying, this isn't a parking thread where we need pictures of where everything is. What next - demanding the OP gives her postcode so you can check it out on the map?

OP clearly has some issues with spelling, punctuation and grammar. That doesn't in any way invalidate what she is saying, or value her experience any less.

When people ask a direct question and she gives further info, that isn't changing her story it's clarifying something she may have put down unclearly - or the questioner has interpreted in a different way.

If the OP says the same thing multiple times, having corrected an incorrect assumption (owned cats, not feral), there's no reason to keep on insisting that your version is correct and ignore her (and others) comments.

How about the people who have piled on here stop and go to a different thread. Maybe pick on someone else who can defend themselves better and where there may be some actual reason to attack the OP in the way you have here rather than your own unconscious bias against someone with spelling or grammar issues.

All good points @Allergictoironing but really, many people have said OP should go report this if it's a problem. There's not much else positive people can say and you must admit the drip feed has been a rollercoaster.

Thank you.yes people were saying it was a path now its a coastal path now its woodlands etc.but yes its all them things i put path in the first thread and because i didnt add woodland or coastal then it was changing my story.i didnt feel writting down the exact place and what it had around was irrelavant.but yes i had to clarify so much and then being made i was changing my story just because i didnt put down the coastal or the woodlands part

But wouldn’t that rip her arm out of her socket?

Not if she trained it properly.

how do you know this is the only place she lets the dog off lead, do you stalk them door to door?

OP has said that she has been sitting on the bench watching the woman walk towards her (and the cats) with the dog on a lead. As she gets close to the cats she takes the lead off. OP states she has seen this behaviour more than once - dog on lead, get to cat meeting area, dog let off lead.

So she doesn't know then, she knows about 1 tiny part of what may be a much longer walk, for example today my dog was on lead, off lead, on lead, off lead and back on lead to get back to the car. It makes sense that someone would let there dog off when getting to a safer wooded/coastal.path.

So thanks anyway but no help, OP still mad
