I think it's a sweet house and I can see it's been done by someone who knows what they're doing. I like it better than most of the bland, blank canvass houses, and I really like a couple of the rooms.....but I'm not sure I'd want to live there.

Too much for me to live in but I very much appreciate it as something to look at.

Dontcallmescarface · 13/10/2026 17:51

Wotsupmog · 13/10/2026 17:19

... and the stairs.

Well the stairs go from zebra in 1 photo and beige in another, as PP said, something feels a bit off.

NDerbys32 · 13/10/2026 17:51

A little OTT for me but I would kill for that office with a fantastic desk to build models on. In fact, I'm nicking that look for my own.

Wildgoat · 13/10/2026 17:51

I love it and would admire anyone’s whose house was like that, but I’d need ti paint over it, as it’s not for me,

CactusCuttings · 13/10/2026 17:53

It's funky but the first thing the new owner should do is put curtains up!

Diydanny · 13/10/2026 17:55

WallaceinAnderland · 13/10/2026 16:29

OMG!!! No, just no.

but I definitely love the first one.

Cherryicecreamx · 13/10/2026 17:56

Oooh I'm loving all the colour, so much fun and personality 😍 not quite sure about the yellow and zebra hallway! I actually think some neutrals will set off some of the designs better so they're not all competing.

eatreadsleeprepeat · 13/10/2026 17:56

Love.

FizzyColaBottle8 · 13/10/2026 16:58

There’s something off about the pictures. The yellow hallways with the zebra print shows yellow panelling up the stairs wall. But the hallway looking down it’s white with a cream carpet?

Oh yes! Does the carpet change colour halfway up or is AI having a go?

seahorsessky · 13/10/2026 17:56

Quite a few of the rooms are less OTT than it first appears, as in once you've taken out the furniture, the walls and floor are reasonably neutral. It kind of looks like my gran's house, or LL from those 90s programmes.
Each to their own, but my estate agent says neutral is best for selling. If you're not, do your thing, and ignore the online articles saying maximillism is out, if you want.
I'm a millennial and don't want my home looking like a primary school/nursery, get me neutrals!

AnonyMumAuDHD · 13/10/2026 17:56

Not for me - I’d have a daily migraine by 8am if I lived there. But I have lots of friends who would love it, and it would totally suit them. I’d just have to wear sunnies when I went around.

OMG!!! No, just no.

but I definitely love the first one.

Oh gosh I've got a headache looking at this one 😂

UndeadLife · 13/10/2026 17:59

Love the fireplaces and chandeliers in living and dining, kitchen counters if paintable like the kitchen. Love the stonework on chimney breasts in bedrooms if painted differently, the bathroom can add more black accents, overall could make that a gorgeous gothic styled house. Only thing needing total overhaul for me is the hallway/stairs. The only reason i wouldn't buy this house is lack of a second toilet, that's a non negotiable for me.

DorsetKnobBiscuit · 13/10/2026 16:17

Absolutelly love everything except the plastic grass.

This!

oncemoreuntothebeachdearfriends · 13/10/2026 18:00

I wouldn't even view a property with just an upstairs bathroom.

Goaliestar · 13/10/2026 18:01

I think this would be lovely for a single woman. A tin of white paint could quickly tone down anything you found too much.

RichPetuniaAgain · 13/10/2026 18:02

Love it. It's cracking ❤️

Butchyrestingface · 13/10/2026 18:03

Sweet suffering baby Jesus, I'VE got that Harlequin bedspread too. I thought it was tasteful. Sad

Sahara123 · 13/10/2026 18:03

Love it, beautifully done. I’d lose the zebra stripes, the pink bathroom and the plastic grass but I love everything else. I particularly like the orange courtyard and the green kitchen . I was born in Paignton- next town round the bay- but live far away now. If it was just me to consider I’d be there in a heartbeat!
Such a lovely change from bland grey interiors .
Edited to say the first one !! I hadn’t seen the second one, it’s awful !

BrotherOswin · 13/10/2026 18:04

Not totally my cup of tea as it's a bit theme-y
I do love the colour of the kitchen cabinets
I have no issue with lots going on, some pattern clashing is great etc but it's very maximalist rather than arty- which is my personal preference (that I never seem to achieve)

RosaFelicia · 13/10/2026 18:05

This house makes me smile and I wish I had the nerve to do something similar! So clever how the sitting room is basically white with pops of bright colour so it isn't overwhelming. The yellow bedroom is fabulous, I wonder where the bedlinen is from? It looks like it was done without spending a fortune which I admire too.

Wotsupmog · 13/10/2026 18:05

The brochure shows a yellow bath whole the one on the Gallery photo is dark blue. Bloody AI.

managingexpectations · 13/10/2026 18:07

I love lots of bits but the green kitchen and overly busy hall would need toned down for me. The person designing this clearly knows their stuff…and now I want a bright pink house

LowlandLucky · 13/10/2026 18:10

I like it but would have to add curtains and more rugs.

ilovepixie · 13/10/2026 18:11

I love it. But the outside isn’t pink on street view.
