I think it's a sweet house and I can see it's been done by someone who knows what they're doing. I like it better than most of the bland, blank canvass houses, and I really like a couple of the rooms.....but I'm not sure I'd want to live there.

It's very cute albeit not my taste

BarMonaco · 13/10/2026 17:22

I like it but would paint over some of the bright paint.

lazyarse123 · 13/10/2026 17:22

I like it except the hall and stairs. Dh otoh would have to buy gallons of magnolia.

FFSItsTooHot · 13/10/2026 17:23

It's lovely, apart from the colour of that paint on the kitchen cupboards. 🤢

Hotdoughnut · 13/10/2026 17:24

This is such a happy house. I love it!

noodlesandpickle · 13/10/2026 17:24

I like it apart from the fake grass, the zebra print - its just too brothely for me, and the lack of parking.

thatsmytoad · 13/10/2026 17:24

Love!!!!! Absolutely stunning 😍

longtompot · 13/10/2026 17:26

What a fun house. Some of the rooms I'm not as keen on, the pink bedroom, and the hallway but the rest is lovely.

I dont think I like it.

Its well styled and everything goes well together but equally lots of the decor is tacky and it looks uncomfortable, and as soon as you added anything you actually liked it would look out of place. I dont like any decor thats too put together whether its maximalist or minamilist. I would argue a carefully curated maximist house has no more personality than a completely neutral one

I totally agree that a carefully curated maximalist house has no more personality than a completely neutral one.

So many people on here saying that this house is full of personality, but I just don't see it. It's like they've just gone from room to room with the intent of being as zany as possible. There's no sense that the house has developed organically.

Madcats · 13/10/2026 17:27

Is that the going rate for a terraced house in Torquay? Streetmap shows it recently sold in 2024 (when the outside was cream and pale green).

Most of the house is blandly decorated and, hallway aside, I could happily live in the rest. It’s as if they were only part-way through the project before having to move.

I’m not sure what I’d do about the orange back wall; that would be a pig to paint over.

Zanatdy · 13/10/2026 17:29

I love it

There’s something off about the pictures. The yellow hallways with the zebra print shows yellow panelling up the stairs wall. But the hallway looking down it’s white with a cream carpet?

Good spot! How odd.

I mostly love it. Not a huge fan of the zebra print in the hallway, but it does "go" with the colour. And the dining area doesn't look big enough for a proper table.
I love the little courtyard area though, and the pink sofa. Which presumably isn't included.

Wowthatwasabigstep · 13/10/2026 17:32

Goodness me, that is awful.

The room with the green parrot in it, where do they eat, the house desperately needs a table instead of two uncomfortable chairs.

Painted bricks on the bedroom fireplaces and the hideous hallway. The bathroom is somewhat tacky.

I would spend a lot of time neutralising the colours and I like bold colours, it just all clashes and is not cohesive.

Joyforsomenotall · 13/10/2026 17:35

I like 70% of it if that's allowed. Certain things look at bit cheap, but overall a yes

Rainbowstar1432 · 13/10/2026 17:36

I love it 🥰

Why wouldn’t you? It’s only paint. I think it’s a lovely house but I would probably change some of the colours and I don’t like the deep green in the kitchen, but I would buy that house.

fando · 13/10/2026 17:38

I like it & love the garden

That is very odd. I wondered if the view down was from a previous sale photo? Surely the sellers would have noticed?

NannyOf8Girls · 13/10/2026 17:41

Love it too!!

PrettyLittleRose · 13/10/2026 17:41

Oh God no it's awful! Like an assault on the eyes. 😱 I would have a permanent migraine if I lived there. All the weird jazzy colours EVERYwhere make it look poky, and narrow, and smaller than it actually is.

Dreadful! 💀

.

longtompot · 13/10/2026 17:43

Also, the bathroom pics don't marry up. The one with the cream stairs has a pale bathroom, but the bathroom photos are very pink and patterned

fivepastmidnight · 13/10/2026 17:43

I'm not keen but most of it would go when they move out because it's dressing. the main is OK .I like the office colours but really don't like animal print in any form Clothes furniture anything.

This confused me as well. how can a stair that is yellow + zebra at the bottom be neutral white and beige at the top?

Monty36 · 13/10/2026 16:29

So very individual. Absolutely brilliant. What a lovely house. But a fantastic home. Whoever lives there has a fabulous eye for design and colour. Am amazed at the price too.

I don't think it's individual at all. There are lots of houses with very similar interiors to this.

Dontcallmescarface · 13/10/2026 17:49

Too bright and garish for me.
