I think it's a sweet house and I can see it's been done by someone who knows what they're doing. I like it better than most of the bland, blank canvass houses, and I really like a couple of the rooms.....but I'm not sure I'd want to live there.

It’s a love it from me too!

FizzyColaBottle8 · 13/10/2026 16:58

There’s something off about the pictures. The yellow hallways with the zebra print shows yellow panelling up the stairs wall. But the hallway looking down it’s white with a cream carpet?

Deadleaves77 · 13/10/2026 16:58

I do like the kitchen though, but again as soon as those pots go up in a different order your style is ruined

LoveheartBear · 13/10/2026 16:30

I love this!

I would have to change the hallway, but everywhere else is fab.

Yes. The hallway is a bit too much.

StormGazing · 13/10/2026 17:00

It looks immaculate and somewhat fabulous … clearly a great designer … it’s too much for me, it id definitely take some of the ideas to my plain white home lol 😂

I love her work, she is a very talented artist even if the house is a bit much for most people!

overmydeadbody · 13/10/2026 17:03

It's nice to see a house that isn't just boring safe greige, where you can see the personality of the owner! ❤️

WallaceinAnderland · 13/10/2026 16:29

I saw that one when it was up, belonged to an artist who thought it OK to use the whole house as a canvas. It's hideous.

DorsetKnobBiscuit · 13/10/2026 16:17

Absolutelly love everything except the plastic grass.

Same.

I love colour. Fabulous.

AngelWithASword · 13/10/2026 17:05

Could live with everything in the short, or even medium term, except the hall and the bathroom.

Anywherebuthere · 13/10/2026 17:06

Not something I could live with but I really like how someone has put their heart into doing this up in such a lovely way and the personality really comes through.

Full of colour and life instead of the usual neutral tones and greys which is more common these days.

It will be the perfect home for someone.

WallaceinAnderland · 13/10/2026 16:29

See this I like. Its too much for me to live in but I think its really cool. Its got colour, pattern, texture. And actual life like books.

The other house just looks like plastic and too matching.

Yikes 😳

They need to get a massive tin of magnolia pronto!

Chilly80 · 13/10/2026 17:06

Love it

plasticplate · 13/10/2026 17:10

I couldn't live in it like that but I would love it as a friends house to visit.

It's been done very well. Not like this monstrosity which I believe has now been removed from the market.

‘Monstrosity’?!

It’s a house owned by an artist. It’s been decorated to her taste with hours of her own work. It would be a matter of a few hundred quids’ worth of paint to bland it all out to white again if that was your preferred look, and the house itself is lovely.

There’s so much greyness and conformity and bland, sheeplike trend-following, I don’t understand the impulse to shit on someone else’s joyful personal expression. You’re a long time dead so put whatever the hell you want on your walls.

This kind of comment is more of an indictment of all the people who are so completely lacking in taste or imagination that they can’t envisage a space any differently from the current owner’s choices.

blythet · 13/10/2026 17:14

I love it!

Oliveoy · 13/10/2026 17:17

Hmm. My own house has lots of colour and is pretty eclectic, but this is too much. The zebra stairs for example would be better if there wasn't also the zebra panelling. There's no interest to any of the colours...primary green kitchen cupboards, hot pink bathroom, bright orange walls outside...it's all so saturated and basic. I do like the coral furniture in one of the bedrooms, which is what I mean by more interesting colour. I'd rather buy a beige house as would be far easier to redecorate!

I seem to recall that one was priced as a work of art, so I'm not surprised it didn't sell

I wonder if they are an interior designer

dicentra365 · 13/10/2026 17:21

I love it and I also love St Mary Church, I had no idea it was so reasonably priced there.

Fiddlesticks1 · 13/10/2026 17:21

I prefer it to this one.
