My Man City supporter husband, man and boy, even back when they were crap, is taking it all very badly. Any tips? At the moment I’m making vague sympathy noises and hoping he grows up and gets over it….

ETA I don’t follow football and am finding it hard to empathise as can’t imagine anything similar flooring me…

Remind him when Luton Town were found guilty on 15 counts, they got a 30 point deduction and a fine, the MCFC equivalent will be 228 point deduction and roughly a £350000 fine!

Everton were deducted 10 points (later reduced to six) on ONE charge, and two points on another. They were also forced to pay Burnley £35,000,000.

The equivalent would be for Man City to pay £4 Billion in damages to other clubs and be deducted 456 points!

As a neutral, I'm finding it hard to feel much sympathy for the fans, to be honest. I know it's clearly not the fans fault, or the players, but the fact that Man City has been breaking the rules for years is hardly a secret, but fans still chose to support them, and give them their money. It's coming home to roost now.

Haha how did this turn into an Arsenal v Spurs fight?

Can't we all agree to hate Chelsea (though I can't bring myself to hate their manager, the beautiful bastard).

🤣
