That's pretty ridiculous. At 18 they're 2 years over the age of consent. To label someone over 30 as a paedophile in those terms is overdoing it.

An adult dating another adult isn't a peadophile.

If it were a 21 year old man with an 18 year old woman nobody would bat an eyelid.

If they were at similar life stages I wouldn’t worry. Her experience and life skills give her a bit more power, but your description doesn’t make it a huge power imbalance. Since she is a bit ahead, I would want to keep a watchful eye.

I have an 18 year old son, and this wouldn’t bother me at all. Perhaps over 25 might, but only because of the differing levels of life experience.

They were 19 and 23, now in their 40’s, happily married for nearly 16 years.

Im in my 30s and 18 year olds look about 12 to me so if someone my age fancied one I'd be questioning who else their looking at

It would entirely depend on the girl and whether I thought she was a good person and reasonably sensible/intelligent or suffered from mental health problems and was likely to drag him down as well.

The overwhelming majority of 18 year olds absolutely do not look like 'children' 🙄

A paedophile is somone who is atrracted to prepubescent children an 18 year old is neither prepubescent or a child
It maybe an unwise relationship and there maybe some power dynamics at work but they are not a paedophile
And throwing the term around wrongly minimises actual paedophiles
