Do you usually take a glass of water to bed?

New couple. One always takes a glass of water to bed. The other never does. Both think the other is strange (light heartedly). What is normal for you?

We both do

I take a bottle because the cat would drink from the glass and / or deliberately knock it over

I keep a bottle there as I wake up with a really dry mouth and one found my cat drinking out of the glass lol
