According to some news reports, all three suffered heart attacks. Very odd; there has to be more to come on this, although it's no longer headlining on R4 news.

Also on R4 news just now was a very factual report that (can't remember the number) have crossed the Channel in a small boat today - the largest number so far this year. Is it me, or is there resigned acceptance in the tone of the newscasters who have to report these frequent illegal invasions?

Quite a coincidence if all three did - I presume they weren't elderly. Either way, if there was foul play, those that were involved are going to be living freely in the UK.

Could be worse though - we could be Spain (although that clusterfuck will knock on the channel crossing figures for sure).

Nothing on here. The Labour supporters on other threads with their mocking and pile-ons. You know the drill.

I literally feel like we are under attack with all these foreign men coming here and we seem to be powerless to stop it. Kinda makes me feel a bit frightened like we can't protect ourselves.
What I don't get is why are we paying France when they clearly are not doing a very good job. Why not pay our own people instead to patrol our costs on boats or land or both. Yes it would cost alot but it would provide employment to some british people and would not doubt be cheaper than paying France and having them arrive anyway.

People will say oh you can't turn them away in the water once they are almost on our shores. I say of course we can. Once they know we mean it they will stop coming. If they want to try and the rules have been made crystal clear it's up to them if they want to drown themselves.

Why do we have no control. Makes me feel very vunerable.

I actually live quite far north and I have to admit recently I seem to be noticing more black/muslim faces than normal (might not be muslim, woman in headscarves and the big black dress cover thing). I don't know if the two things are related or if more people are moving here legally or perhaps they have just been relocating within the UK. With the appearance of more and more (what looks like non british people) in my area plus these constant headlines of us being invaded I am honestly starting to feel like a stranger in my own country.

I feel angry and helpless. If I went back 30 years it would actually be very rare to see a non white face in my area. Probably too far from London that immigrants didn't bother to come this far or something. I am definately noticing a change in who is buying up houses for sale.
