The issues don"t go away, if he goes the votes will start to go to Restore or even more radical parties, AB is going to be even more useless than KS.

That's an opinion. And you know what they say about opinions.

It’s funny, I only ever see one “issue,” which you’re right - hasn’t gone away and isn’t likely to immediately.

I would agree that people who have specific issue(s) should have a political home, and it’s a shame that at the moment they seem to believe Farage has the key to it.

Hopefully over time someone less… horrendous, offers them a place to be.

Yes, but you still have not addressed why you think Farage "advocated for PM" as a way to "undermine the government" and in your thinking it doesn"t appear to be 2Tears fault in any way, it seems to be Farage"s fault ( in your way of thinking) Are you saying Farage had advance information on PM and set them up? (assuming again that he has the power to influence the government on a matter that was 2Tier"s responsibility)

I thought I made myself quite clear what I was getting at over the several posts I made, but for your benefit, I’ll try again. I’ll break it down for you.

Farage surrounds himself with very rich and powerful people and is a known ally of the MAGA movement and the Russian regime. He very likely knew exactly what was in the Epstein files, and very likely knew what was being sat on waiting to be released.

It was known that Mandelson was corrupt and would leak information for money, so he was quite useful for a short time.

Farage endorsed his appointment as US ambassador, as reported in the press here, and Farage is also connected to some very corrupt and powerful people whose interests it would serve to have Mandelson appointed, so whilst I’m not suggesting that Farage had any direct influence on Mandelson’s appointment, what I am suggesting is that he would have been connected to those people who would want him in the role, hence he came out saying he was a very intelligent man and a good pick.

There is nothing to say that Mandelson’s appointment wasn’t influenced by those connected to Farage in some way, and that the reason Farage was happy that Mandelson was appointed is because he knew that MAGA had information about him in the Epstein files waiting to be released to undermine the British government, which it did, and ultimately led to Starmer’s resignation.

When the Epstein files did drop with all the incriminating evidence against Mandelson, this gave Farage political leverage against the government to use to gain favour amongst the electorate. ‘Look how incompetent this government is!’

There is already evidence in the files that Steve Bannon, Trumps advisor, attempted to overthrow Theresa May and other European leaders, and it benefits both Russia and the US for a far right party to gain power in the UK and other EU countries. You are being deliberately mislead for their benefit.

Nigel Farage's tip for US ambassador role is the last person you'd expect | Politics | News | Express.co.uk

Nigel Farage also gushed about Donald Trump's 'almost superhuman' levels of endurance.

Oh well.

If AB plummets us all directly into the North Sea, at least the boats won’t arrive.

This sounds quite far fetched, PM had already been sacked twice, he was a terrible pick and KS made the decision, everything else is just fantasy/conspiracy theory. This statement - "this gave Farage political leverage against the government to use to gain favour amongst the electorate. ‘Look how incompetent this government is!’" - just screams denial of the real reasons for Farage/Reform popularity with voters.

Something to do with the establishment?

Sticking it to “the man”
by electing… a privately educated millionaire, ie - the man?

Letting a man who married a migrant tell us we should have less migrants?

Solving the corruption of politics by… electing a man who takes funds from known financial criminals?

It isn’t far fetched at all. Of course Farage knew what was in there. Don’t be naive. That’s why he came out saying he was a great pick.

They were biding their time until they could use it to weaken the government. Why was there nothing about Trump released? Just Mandelson and Prince Andrew?

I didn’t suggest it wasn’t Starmer’s fault because ultimately, it was, but there would have been other influences at play. They know what they are doing, even one of Putin’s allies celebrated KS resigning. They constantly flood social media with anti Starmer propaganda as well to influence minds.

Germans are not lining up to get into the UK, he never said "stick it to the man", that was a Pam Grier movie, he said sovereign nations should control their own borders and laws.

PM had already been sacked twice yes, but it’s likely that Starmer took a risk because he knew that PM was a good diplomat and could deal with a narcissistic man baby like Trump quite well.

Obviously, it backfired, but if you’re trying to tell me that it’s not possible that people connected to Farage and MAGA would have influenced who had the role of US ambassador, then you are the definition of naive.

Spoiler - he is “the establishment,” and is certainly not “the people.”

It wouldn"t take much to influence anyone that Starmer was completely useless as a politician, you could just tell them to watch one of his speeches on TV, so again this is very far fetched fringe website stuff you are posting.

He had no charisma, made some awful decisions and was a poor communicator, but there is no way on God’s green Earth that he was as bad as everyone liked to make out. He didn’t deserve all the bile he got.

He was brilliant with international affairs and under his leadership there were some good policies that never got talked about much. Some are still waiting to come through now

If, on some bizarre planet, he became the PM, he would be the political establishment.

And that’s only if you don’t accept that he is now.

What policies? Brilliant? Gurning and mumbling into the camera next to Macron etc.? Sorry that doesn"t register as "brilliant" for me. ( and obviously not for most of the country either or he would still be PM)

I’m afraid I have no idea.

Mainly because MPs are the political establishment, people who are striving to be PM definitely are, and I don’t know if you missed it - but we left the EU.

Think that just about covers it!

We gained respect back on the international stage. Even some leaders expressed that when they learned he had resigned.

Do you not want better workers rights then? Well, better vote for Farage, he wants all your rights and protections stripped away. Of course, you will get them back (he says) because it’s not as if it will benefit his billionaire business donors for workers to not have rights at all, is it?

Did you know, he’s honoury chairman of Action of World Health? That’s right, another thing he’s trying to take away from you, The World Health Organisation, and convince you it’s for your own good, so he can take over and make millions dismantling institutions to end so called wokeness, just like daddy Trump who has an anti vaxxer as his health minister 😂.

Ironically hilarious is that on the sliding banner, one of the slides says, in bold letters, WHERE THERE’S MONEY, THERE’S INFLUENCE. 😂😂😂😂😂 £5 million, anyone?

God, I despair. Go vote for him. Man of the people.

It’s definitely not fringe stuff. That’s rich coming from someone who has fallen hook, line and sinker for the Farage Spiel about how he’s a man of the people and a British Patriot (Yes, such a British patriot that he wants us to be like the US and is trying to sell us out)

I’m saying it because I know how closely connected he is with MAGA. There is a high probability he knew that once Mandelson got appointed, they were eventually going to release files that incriminated him and thereby weakened the governments credibility as well as gave Farage more favour.

How is that at all fringe? It makes sense. Especially given that it’s known that Steve Bannon et al have tried before to weaken previous prime ministers.

JustSawJohnny · 12/07/2026 01:58

Tried to dodge a bullet but not only will it not miss but he could also end up losing to a bin 😂

Teanbiscuits33 · 12/07/2026 02:53

And look at the twat yet again trying to gain political capital from this despite the police telling people not to speculate. He’d just love it if he could claim it was politically motivated by a left winger. Like Charlie Kirk was used to hate on the ‘radical left’

www.thesun.co.uk/news/39725110/farage-claims-ann-widdecombes-murder-premeditated/

How does he know there was a car on her drive 5 minutes before her death? Have the police told him things they haven’t told any sod else? Or does he know more than he lets on? He knows exactly what he’s doing.

How people can’t see through him I do not know.

LoftyPlumLion · 12/07/2026 05:14

Have the BNP loons managed to deflect the topic from the multiple bribes that Farage and Tice have been taking?

The real issue at hand is whether they can be trusted in government and time and again they have shown they can't, to a level that is far worse than any other party. They are at the beck and call of the highest bidder, and the most important issue for them is the size of their personal cut.

5128gap · 12/07/2026 07:28

KeepPumping · 11/07/2026 22:11

The issues don"t go away, if he goes the votes will start to go to Restore or even more radical parties, AB is going to be even more useless than KS.

I disagree and think you do the electorate a disservice. Even the majority of Reform voters have a line, and Restore is too far extreme for most except the ardent lunatics.
I think a lot of Reform voters don't even associate Reform with the worst excesses of the right. Farage is careful to ensure that people can support him while still considering thenselves decent reasonable people who 'only want..'

With Restore, there is no mask.
Lowe lacks understanding of the difference between his views and electable ones. He badly misjudged the UKs appetite for firearms for example.
If he wants to mop enough of the erstwhile Reform vote when they collapse to gain real traction, he will need to compromise on policy and learn to mask his personal extremity.
Which I'm not sure he will, because unlike Farage, I believe he is acting from sincerity of belief, no matter how heinous, rather than just on hire to the highest bidder.
