Turns out they did. However Trump can waive it for 60 days. And then re-waive it. Effectively using executive orders to simply bypass Congress.

As I understand it, SerendipityJane, the reason surströmming exists is to avoid paying tax on it: the revenue people decided that it was not edible and therefore did not have to pay the tax on food.

Since Swedes will proudly tell you that the second most popular activity in Sweden is avoiding tax, I think we really ought to take note that it is not just the USA that is a nation devoted to dodging taxes.

One could even argue that Trump is the natural evolution for a nation predicated on tax dodging.

Here is an odd one. CNN saying Asia are selling tech stocks, and they are trying to make it about the AI bubble.

But the article makes no mention of helium stocks, and how Trumps war has broken the supply chain on that element. Nor is mention made of helium being needed for high tech chips.
