How is Ariana Grande allowed to keep going?

She looks like she’s at death’s door with anorexia and yet she’s just kicked off a world tour.

I thought we were living in more enlightened times now and that celebrities’ ill health wouldn’t be enabled like this. If she went to any hospital she’d get admitted for malnutrition.

cones to weight. This can be an unhealthy place shen it comes to weight.
Ive seen threads where women have said they’re 7 stones and 5ft 4 and feel chubby, with replies agreeing that you can be chubby at this height/weight. Appalling.

This is when she started to become even more thin as it coincided with wicked movie promo, and I also think in part to garnish public sympathy
for being shitty (along with Ethan).

Her and Ethan have unsurprisingly now split (not married) after 3 years so yes, maybe the guilt of her part in that situation is taking its toll. She has all the money and resources in world. Her public image is carefully planned and curated so I honestly don’t think she appears any way that is not wanted or planned.

Her co-star Cynthia is just as skinny the pair of em are weird

She looks very unwell. I can’t imagine that her body will cope with a tour, although I think it’s only for a few months, so maybe that is with her current health in mind. I hope she’s ok, she seems to have been through a lot and seems a very gentle person.

Is AG ‘weird’? Or is she massively affected by someone bombing her concert and killing multiple people, including children?

My 9 year old daughter shocked me recently when she mentioned Ariana Grande and said she had an eating disorder. I didn’t even realise she knew what an eating disorder is. It’s something I suffered very badly from as a teen but kept hidden from and never mentioned to her.

Cynthia just ran a very fast London Marathon. She is at the peak of fitness.

..... in fact you often see 'I am 7 stone 3 pounds - at 5 ft 3 inches tall, but when I am 8 stone I am FAT' type comments! Very disturbing and weird.

Also, just today (may have been yesterday,) I saw someone on a thread say that a BMI of 26.5 is quite overweight. 🙄

I just had a look, to get a BMI of 26, I need to put on 3.5 stones! No one would ever describe me as skinny now, I would be more than overweight

She had an eating disorder and was involved in a bombing. These things are not necessarily as connected as your post suggests.

Is it possible the really shocking ones are edited?

When dd looked like that she was definitely anorexic and had to have regular ECGs to check on her heart. She wasn’t allowed to exercise or walk to school so how this lady or those around her think she can physically do a gruelling world tour I don’t understand.

Honestly, I'd say it's more likely that the more flattering photos (in this case the one on the right) are edited.

Kate Middleton has also definitely looked underweight at times, even before her cancer diagnosis, but maybe she suffered with a chronic ill health condition that caused this. She has looked very thin since having cancer but it can be very difficult to build back muscle and get to a healthy weight after cancer. For all we know she may be very unwell still with cancer.

I would suggest POW allows certainly has an eating disorder.

People with anorexia can be judged as lacking capacity, DD is currently receiving treatment but has been told if she stops complying with it she will be sectioned and Ng tube feed on the basis that she is putting her own life at risk. And she doesn't look nearly as thin as Ariana.

Poor girl, she is clearly very ill. Very sad to see.

I have to say I think anyone who thinks Ariana looks a healthy weight has definitely lost sight of what a healthy weight is. She looks so thin she could snap in two. Frightening.

Exactly. For someone tall and slim to tip right over the other end of the healthy BMI range would not be healthy for them at all.

Oh the poor woman must be so unhappy. Anorexia is a vicious disease.

However willfully stupid some posters are being, she is obviously very seriously underweight.

Normally it’s just slim & morbidly obese, there is no middle ground 🙄
