I’m sad about this. Was recently just watching motherland again and even though he had just a small part in it he was really good.

Saw this about ten minutes ago and started typing a post but couldn't find the words. Terrible news. Loved him in Ted Lasso, but Giles was a legend. He seemed like such a lovely man :(

Rupert Giles was a great character. Also enjoyed Anthony Head’s work in Merlin. And he made a great alien headteacher in Doctor Who.
