Tinderbox Britain: In quick succession the names of Henry Nowak (RIP) and Stephen Ogilvie have become synonymous with violent riots centred around illegal immigration which have the potential to escalate on a scale not seen before.
What happened in Belfast last night was pure thuggery; I'm not convinced "ordinary" people were involved, but for how long will they be able to contain their frustration and anger that their concerns about the continued stream of undocumented migrants availing themselves of taxpayer largesse?
More importantly, does anyone have confidence in the current Government's ability to restore order?
Starmer's just been quoted as saying the riots in Belfast were "shocking and completely unacceptable". Predictable platitudes from a lame duck without a clue.
