I am not coping

What if you're naked indoors and still too hot? Don't be ridiculous.

So, here's my theory about hot weather. Brits can be divided into two tribes - lizards and newts. Lizards love the heat; they waft about looking stylish and insouciant, basking in the blazing sun. Newts hate the heat and when it's hot, they skulk indoors with the curtains firmly shut, sticky and frizzy of hair, dreaming wistfully of rainy autumnal days.

I am, very much, a newt.

No I love warm weather, I find when cold i struggle to move, the sun and warmth makes my body and mood feel better. Mid 20s are my ideal, warm enough for short sleves without a coat ect. Today was 16c i was still in jeans and a hoodie over my tee shirt, I don't feel too hot till 30-35c+.

I'm in the NW too and it's been around 26 today. 16 is too hot for me, so I'm suffering. 30 tomorrow and Monday 😫

Bring on winter.

Devon here, we hit 24 today so not too bad, 29 tomorrow, i love the heat in the day, hate it at night.

Just another bonus of big weight loss - I walked seven miles along the river in London today at lunchtime carrying a rucksack and a bag of shopping. If I’d done that a few years ago when I was six stone heavier, I’d have been dead.

It has been ONE day!!! The rest of us have to put up with shitty cold and damp weather for 10 months of the year

I think 12 months of the year should be winter.

I love hot weather but not in the uk. People go a bit mad and cities are not designed for it. Currently sweltering with windows closed as neighbours a few doors down are playing horrendously loud music in their garden so everyone else has to hide inside.

The French Can we have air conditioning

I'm back from Ibiza today and it's hotter here than there! It was hot there but at least there was a pool/beach to cool off in!.

Getting stuck in the heat on the M25 was no help and of course that's when my cars Aircon decided to break 😭

London here too and it's fucking miserable. I have a colleague who comes from Trinidad and he says that London heat just about kills him. Trinidad is always HOT - easily 35 degrees in summer - but he says it's always fresh and windy so you don't feel like you're going to drown in your own sweat 💦 like you do here

I love all seasons, including summer, and absolutely adore sunshine and warmth, but the heat (28 degrees +) can absolutely do one

I am fat. I have a big saggy stomach overhang and other assorted folds and creases. I usually get a right sweaty old gooch.

But not today!

I have finally lost enough weight to indulge in some Oddballs women's bamboo boxers. Always wanted some, love the designs and my husband and son wont wear any other brand.

Absolute gamechanger and I do not use that term lightly!

Fresh as a daisy down there despite wearing demin shorts, being out walking all day. Also wearing one of their cotton bralettes and aside from having to squish the girls in a bit, I have pretty much no underboob sweat either.

Just been on a call to a friend who's in the far north of Scotland - it's 10 degrees up there and people are wearing woolly hats!

This is the second day of hot weather for us. It was like this yesterday and according to the weather app, predicted tomorrow too

In fact it supposed to reach 33 on Tuesday!!
