A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Whatever comes out this afternoon, Starmer is finished. The damage is already done. Appointing a BFF of a paedophile as US ambassador will be his legacy.

Email stating VAT on Private Schools would not be a 'Wise' move. This, absolutely highlights how ministers are oblivious to reality and only interested in imposing their 'Sixth Form' political ideologies on the country.

The Government have no intention of changing ideas or views when the 'facts' or situations change. In effect Ministers are hell- bent on imposing their own personal ideology built on 'life long' jealously . This is true because during the Election Campaign of 2024, none of the economic carnage done was in any Labour Party Manefesto.

We’re still paying the last PFI loans back. It’s just loading our dc with even more debt.

Oh, I know

It just feels like there's maybe an admission here that the private sector actually make money and can pay for things.

This is how low my standards are for this government!

There are very lengthy exchanges between McFadden and Mandleson discussing the absolute dysfunction at number 10 and Starmers complete lack of direction.

I wonder if McFadden will keep his job.

Pat McFadden to Mandelson:
‘Every meeting I have is “who can we tax in order to pay benefits to others”. They’re asking the wrong questions.’

Nuthatch26 · Yesterday 15:42

@Sarahconnor1 Just reading those. Shocker.
Pat McFadden has been cheerleading for Starmer on repeat.

Does Starmer have the authority to sack anyone? I'm not sure he's actually in charge anymore.

Same. I’m surprised at McFadden, he’s one of the last cheerleaders left.

That old chestnut, "we will tread lightly on your lives".
I wonder if they actually believe their own lies and drivel?

Starmer couldn’t have got that more wrong. It’s one of the reasons people will be happy to see him go.

Henry Novak's killer has been jailed for a minimum of 21 years.

Let’s hope it actually is that minimum and no pathetic parole board release him earlier.
But we taxpayers are going to feed him for that time - should be a mechanism for the family to have to pay for his keep.

Yeah I know. The Nowak family spoke outside court - heartbreaking to hear.
There was angry shouting between the families in court after sentencing apparently.

I can see some Labour acolytes might be annoyed today. It’s no one on this thread causing the problems, look to your own party and politicians.

Hopefully the pp can post again.
