Would I be an idiot to take this through airport security?

I have recently started taking creatine and am finding it so beneficial. I am going away for 5 nights next week and want to take some with me. The packet it comes in is massive. Would I be stupid to take some in a small plastic bag like this in my hand luggage ( I don’t have a hold bag) or will I be detained?

I fly every week for work, I always take a sandwich bag of collagen powder with me, I’ve never been stopped.

People on here are ridiculous. You can absolutely do this. They have those swipe thingies/tongs that test for drugs if they are concerned. Go and enjoy your holiday !

As it takes several weeks to even begin to build up in your system, would 5 days without hurt? It’s not like you’re suddenly going to drop blood levels, like you would with medication. Otherwise buy a small factory sealed packet, then no hassle and delays in security.

I often do this too, but I was stopped once. They tested them at security and let me keep them but from then on I used a small empty vitamin jar and just put all my supplements in it. I haven’t been stopped since.

I wonder if OP could find a small container for something that usually contains a powder and decant in?

Packed in this bag I can barely seen what is inside. Can you not put it in a clear bag or without a bag so we can actually see it?
