If labour put their words out there in digestible text and sound then it can't be not heard by MSM. They need to tell people about the good bits instead of waiting for them to find out for themselves.

I really hoped the long knives were the preserve of the Tories. I was told last night by a couple of Labour councillors though that it was Starmer they heard about on the doorsteps. I think this is the media and it’s dreadful - equally dreadful of snivelling Streeting - if rumours are to be believed though.

It does feel like we're back in the shitty old days of the Tories with all the back-stabbing going on. I had hoped those times were behind us. Very disappointed with all the Labour MPs who are trying to oust Starmer. The last thing the country needs right now is a change of PM.

@Notonthestairs and @dontcallmelen thanks. It was very peaceful. Vet came first thing so the dreadful wait wasn't too long. A couple of yard friends were there to support and one brought cans of g&t and they sat withe talking about him afterwards waiting for the lorry.

Has anyone seen the thread about those poor young women pulled out of the sea in Brighton? It soon turned into a migrant bashing exercise.

Yes - I unfortunately looked at it earlier this morning. Within a few posts it had turned into the drownings being the fault of young male migrants who push the women and children to the back of the boats and squeeze them out!
