My mainecoon had 5 kittens 6 days ago. They are very cute well I think so anyway. I have added pictures. I don't have a reason for posting i just want to 😊

I know. They are pedigree . She's not just got out and had wham bam thankyou mam. It also doesn't mean I will constantly breed her. They are expensive so they are very unlikely to go to bad owners. Anyway I shall ignore them replys it will just go on and on otherwise.

There is absolutely no need to breed them, “pedigree” or not. It doesn’t benefit your cat. It only endangers her and there are more than enough unwanted cats out there without people like you deliberately adding to their numbers. And yes plenty of expensive cats end up abandoned or in bad homes. I had an abandoned ragdoll who had been dumped on the streets and was in terrible shape. You are staggeringly naive if you believe that is so unlikely to happen. People like you are not cat lovers. You wouldn’t deliberately continue to breed your cat and contribute to the already massive population of unwanted cats if you were.

This. We rescued a persian blue who had a really matted coat and was covered in fleas, the neighbour just couldn’t be bothered with him.
Cheeky sods complained that they brought him for £600 and wanted us to pay them that back! I kept him indoors, took him to vets that cost us £100s as he needed dental treatment. 🙄

If you've bred responsibly (with all that that entails), good for you, I would love a Maine Coon! Some people still want to buy responsibly bred animals and that is not despicable nor is it a crime.

Some awful evil people not only breed, they exhibit their dogs and cats as well!! 😱 God forbid! 🙄😅

Yes they do and it causes a huge amount of harm to animals both in terms of creating even more animals to add to the already unwanted pile, making it harder for existing animals to get homes and creating animals with major health issues that continue to be passed on because people think that they look cute like that. It’s about as far from ethical as you can get.

I already have buyers. They're going to people i know. They won't go until they're 12 weeks though
