The Easter speech by Trump had her looking like an abused woman. Then there is the book coming out detailing she slept with Epstein prior to Trump (already known to lots but probably not the masses). And, there is also the new allegations by the Brazilian model who lost her child and was deported by ICE on Zampolli’s orders, the same Zampolli who ‘introduced’ Melania to Trump.

Either this is classic Trump and a fuck up, or, just maybe, this is a way to get the subject back on agenda and get survivors their day in congress. But that is likely wishful thinking.

I thought how dreadful the speech was and how dreadful she is tbh.

For someone who has lived in the US for 28 years her spoken English is awful!

Calling for a hearing for survivors isn't this a good thing. Reasons why I am sure are not totally from an empathic stance, but as a women herself she will have very likely been a victim of sexual assault. There is more going on than the war

And her accent is likely because she still spent time with her family, my father has lived in the US over 40 years and still has a strong accent, not a hint of an American accent

My immediate cynical reaction is she is trying to get out ahead of a narrative about to drop our way. Very strange situation.

He starts war to distract from Epstein, that doesn't go well so she raises Epstein again to distract from the war.

Which book is this? Who wrote it and when does it come out? Does this author have proof or is it another of those rumours.

Maybe this is the reason for Melania's speech? She is fed up of she all the lies linking her with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein. She wanted a chance to say she has never been friends with Epstein... never had a relationship with him. As I said I hope the author has got proof otherwise she will definitely sue!

It’s one of two things. Either she’s been rolled out to take the focus off trump and the war, or something big is about to come out and they are firing a warning shot and getting their story in first.

either way no one was talking about Melania.but they sure as hell are now. And one things for sure, it was not her choice.

Every time I hear that Trump is in the Epstein files I ask myself this: If this is true why didn't the Democrats release this information before? The Democrats had access to the Epstein files for years and years and years. If there was something in them to really harm Trump they would have used this information during the 2024 elections don't you think? Maybe the Democrats didn't release the Epstein files before because they were protecting their own? Also so many names appear in the files but just because a name appears in the files does not mean they are guilty of anything.

Trump is a sleazeball but from what we know that's in the public domain he's not known to have been a paedophile or ever interested in under-aged girls so I doubt there's anything too grim regarding him in the Files, so maybe that's why the Democrats never released them. Also, there are no doubt a lot of Democrats in them also!

I’m not aware of any lies told about her. She certainly ran in the Eastern European model in NYC in the early 90s crowd so draw your own conclusions, but do it from a place of relative knowledge about the place and the time.

It was a weird speech. I also assumed she was getting her side of events across before something big broke in the news. Which is a strange strategy as now everyone is talking about it.

They've already released an FBI report on accusations that Trump orally raped a 13 year old and then beat her up because she bit him. If that's what they're prepared to release, how grim is what they're holding back?

Whatever it means, that woman didn't look right to me. I don't know, kind of sedated or something? She's a woman we should be on her side - for now anyway. Although how she can remain married to that turd is beyond me. That could be the key to it all, maybe!

You'd think just being in the US surrounded by people speaking American English that the accent would have rubbed off on her and she'd have absorbed the vocabulary enough to be able to read the script she was given.
