From Nigel Farage on x

The horrible attack on volunteer ambulances is part of a rising tide of hate against Jewish communities in Britain.

As I write, more undocumented young men are crossing the Channel.

Many will be from Iran — we have an open door to potential enemies.

Talk about trying to be the bigliest shit stirrer.

Meanwhile a proper response from various people.

Wanker.

The first paragraph was enough.

LizzieW1969 · 23/03/2026 14:13

Good point. He’s got some nerve.

Not really. In a post truth world, the truth really is what someone says it is.

Farage ? Anti semitic at school ? Not at all. He was a pioneer in raising concerns about the safety of the Jewish community as a young person. And only someone with a hidden antisemitic agenda would think otherwise.

PandoraSocks · 23/03/2026 14:28

Farage is a stain on humanity.

How GB News became Reform TV – and no-one bothered stopping them

GB News has become our very own Fox News – with all of the problematic partisan politics that comes with it, writes Alan Rusbridger What happened to the watchdog which is supposed to protect us?

Interesting that it has come from an accusation by Andrew Neil, who helped set up the channel.

It's not like people didn't point this out over 4 years ago.

A lack of trust in the mechanisms that should hold everyone to account equally is a prerequisite for the mild anarchy needed for extremism to flourish.

Water ? You 'aving a larf ?
Data protection ? Would be nice.
Official bodies acting unlawfully or illegally ? Get over yourself.
Public figure trangresses ? Quick therapy !

and so on.

The problem for Ofcom is that it acts based on complaints - and the racists aren’t complaining.

(too busy complaining about ‘woke’ BBC Programming)

Besides Paul Marshall & Legatum are prepared to pour ever more money in to it - knowing that they’ll cash out when the right wing remove regulations (apart from the red tape required because of Brexit).

cardibach · 23/03/2026 17:08

Maybe Ofcom could consider operating on the basis of having a quick look themselves? Ofsted, for example, doesn’t wait for complaints…

RelativisticJet · 23/03/2026 17:54

So, can I ask - are you all retirees?

Pourquoi?

PandoraSocks · 23/03/2026 18:03

Why on earth would anyone in their right mind share personal details with a plopper?

I dunno. But it seems a great invitation to flex the muscles of imagination.

Notonthestairs · 23/03/2026 18:08

They asked this (under a different name) last time.
Obsessed.

PickAChew · 23/03/2026 18:13

They'll be bragging about the tax they pay, next.

A few minutes ago I accidentally turned of the TV and then put it back on again. The programme that was featured was, drum roll, GB News on the attack of the Jewish ambulances. Turned the TV off immediately.

GB News has a fuck off button in our household.

Obsessed.

And they are obsessed with sex, as in whether as retirees you still have sex. It's just weird and creepy.

Efacsen · 23/03/2026 18:27

Yes have seen this obsession before

Plus also interesting contributions on WW3 threads

They are bigly important in their mum's spare room finance, aren't they?

And retiring at 45.

RelativisticJet · 23/03/2026 19:45

I genuinely have no idea what you are talking about, and evidently you have me confused with another poster, on some counts.

Does MN permit you to cross-reference other threads, btw?

You asked if we were retired. I ask again: Pourquoi?

PandoraSocks · 23/03/2026 20:05

Pp could check with mnhq re: cross referencing other threads. I am sure mnhq would be interested in hearing from them.

If it is against the rules, pp's chums might be in bother.
