What outrageously expensive household item would you buy if money were no object?

I'd like solid silver cutlery. I have actually considered getting a couple of place settings, just for me. Also, Herend porcelain but I am so accident-prone, I wouldn't dare.

What would you buy?

Either a fancy dancy coffee machine or a really beautiful painting i saw about 15 years ago but couldn't afford (it was £300).

Can we see it?

How much was your toilet? Also do they have to be wired in I suppose somehow? Hmm, I wonder how they do that when there aren't many wires already in the bathroom.

We’ve just got one. Our electrician wired it into a spur from the light on the outside of the room.
Its fab. Hubby calls it disco loo as it lights up.
