Jim Carrey is unrecognisable!

I was watching an interview and didn’t realise it was him at first!

Looks like eyelid surgery and plenty of Botox

Oh dear. Steroids? Is he unwell ?

Is this him?! His eyes are a different colour!

Eyes change colour in different lights - when you see him on stage at the same event they look a lot darker. My son’s eyes change colour depending on the sky!

Does look like he’s had a lot of work done which is a shame on such an expressive face!

He does look like him!! He looks like he’s aged - because that’s normal, right? And then had cheek fillers and probably other things that haven’t hidden aging as he may have hoped..

I wonder if he'll regret it? Surely his success is partly due to having a very expressive face.

He looks awful. It reminds me of Bradley Cooper. Facelift, eye lift, way too much filler and Botox everywhere.

I've heard that plastic surgeons historically are so much more used to working on women's faces that the results they get with men can often look a bit off.

Having seen some recent Hollywood examples I can well believe it. Cillian Murphy also has that same shiny stretched puffy look at the moment.

I always think Cillian Murphy’s face looks as if he’s been inflated.
Yesterday Demi Moore was showing off her gorgeous new haircut and her photos were SO filtered she looked like she’d been ironed. Press photos of her at an event the same day looked quite different.
The same often happens with Madonna.
All naturally gorgeous and talented. It must be savage trying to keep up in their industry.

I wouldn't be surprised if he had hired a look-a-like to play him.

I saw a couple of clips and he sounds quite different too. Although I’ve only seen him in movies so perhaps he was always putting on a voice for the characters. He looks very different, but I don’t think he looks bad or weird like some other celebrities such as Madonna, he just looks like a different person

Someone mentioned eyelid surgery what would that be for? There's nothing wrong with his eyelids in the past or now.

He definitely looks like he’s had some work done - fillers maybe or a face lift and eye lid surgery? I’m not sure. But I don’t think that’s natural ageing

I would like to think he didn't need help wealthy people can ward off ageing through other means but if he has it's noone else's business

I had to really look carefully at the two images to even imagine I could see a bit of Jim Carrey.
Am I one of the only ones that doesn't think he looks older?
I can see a small glimpse of Jim Carrey in the images but to me he looks younger different and better!
I hope he doesn't need his face for its trademark expressiveness these days, I don't think he could could manage to do that; talk about cracking a smile, ouch.

I don't understand why they do it. Surely, if your career hinges on your highly-recognisable and unique face, what's the point in messing with it? Just age gracefully. We'd much prefer it.
