US strikes Iran

In conjunction with Israel.
Why? Starting wars has never ever ended well for the US, or for the country they are trying to 'help.'

Ah yes, whatever the regime says must be true. Such a superior type of government, too.

I can post the videos and images of the dead children if you'd like. The same videos that millions around the world are seeing right now including Americans just waking up, after 70% being against attacking Iran.

However that would be exploitative,

May the poor angels to Rest in peace and the architects of their deaths be duly punished.

But fuck the people the regime have killed, right? They weren’t pro Gaza, so who cares.

I’ve seen the videos. I haven’t seen proof that it’s the work of the U.S and Israel, and not the Iranian government itself, however.

By all means screech away, but maybe keep some of the wailing energy in reserve in case it comes out that Khamenei is indeed dead.

I'm overjoyed for the Iranian people, hopefully they can be rid of the vile IRGC at last.

Agree so many slaughtered by their own government.

Not perfect, but certainly better than an oppressive regime surely?

personally id prefer a technocracy or a guided/managed democracy

CNN has just said there is no verified evidence that a school has been hit

I will never understand people bei g 'overjoyed' by war, especially when they are safe on their sofas knowing they aren't expected to fight it and won't be hurt by it.

Why would Israel target a random primary school in Iran though?

Good question

I have personal experience of war and being bombed.

I’m very happy for the Iranian regime to meet its demise, and for the people currently dancing the streets that have been begging for this intervention.

Stirabout · 28/02/2026 17:14

InterIgnis · 28/02/2026 16:39

They seem to have managed being strategic in Tehran, given the amount of Iranians currently dancing in the streets cheering them on.

Is it possible the U.S and Israel bombed a school? Sure. Is it likely that the U.S and Israel would willingly risk alienating the very people currently cheering their arrival, who they have a vested interest in buildings alliances with, in order to randomly bomb a school? I think it improbable.

Holding off judgement also means not taking Iranian state media as fact.

Re last para
I didn’t that’s why I searched for the school
Checked the building form and surroundings etc. As much as I could see from the bombed structure from bbc images and the view before the bombing on Google maps
There's no doubt it’s been bombed

What We can’t verify yet is
who bombed it
how many were killed or injured

TheFilliesWillRiseAgain · 28/02/2026 17:19

The poster is sad for a mass killing (the school in Iran) that very likely didn't happen but not bothered about a massacre of people (in Iran) that definitely did happen.

Trying to understand the logic there

I am friends with a family from Iran they have not been able to return in many years they are very sad about it, but in fact would be killed if they returned, the regime is hugely oppressive and people “ disappear “ all the time.
We can agree I’m not a soldier but in your mind that would be the only reason I’m allowed an opinion? That’s so very strange.

Like I said clapping on war, bombs being dropped, missiles flying across various countries isn't something I can personally understand people being overjoyed and smirking away at.

Cautiously optimistic maybe but the thought that that actively makes people in completely uneffected areas feel 'overjoyed' and 'very happy', its stomach churning tbh.

Impressive that you were able to verify the school when none of the mainstream media seems able to.

Can you post the images here that prove that this Iranian school has been bombed today?

An opinion? Of course you can have an opinion. You can even feel 'overjoyed' about countries getting bombed, I'm not stopping you from celebrating war. I can have an opinion too though and I think that being 'overjoyed' by a war that will never hurt you is pretty stomach churning.

I looked at its architectural form and it really wasnt that difficult given my job.

Perhaps ( def not beyond the bounds of possibility )
mainstream media aren’t working very hard to verify this when we have planes in the air in support of the US and Israel

TheFilliesWillRiseAgain · 28/02/2026 17:28

Yes, CNN and the BBC are notoriously pro Trump.

Interesting that you didn't provide the evidence though

Ihatetomatoes · 28/02/2026 09:50

The regime really needs to go.

Have posters forgotten the thousands of mainly young people who were slaughtered on the streets of Iran by their own people. The regime is evil. Iran must not be able to have nuclear weapons.

Umm I think we all know Trump doesn’t care about lives lost and ‘saving’ the oppressed.

Let’s call it what it is - fight for power and resources. By any which way. It’s an absolute crime. Trump and Netanyahu need to be hanged for this

Ignore them Stirabout, the success of propaganda relies on constant denials and gaslighting, the same kind of accusations were made about Gaza aka everything is "Pallywood".

I debunked a pallywood try some years back. 😆
