US strikes Iran

In conjunction with Israel.
Why? Starting wars has never ever ended well for the US, or for the country they are trying to 'help.'

My post is wild, really.

I take that as a compliment as I currently look at the pictures of the bloodstained items strewn around the children in Iran that were murdered this morning by the American attacks and listen to their parents scream.

Yeah, Democracy, freedom....

Are you hearing anytjing re U.K. involvement. I read U.K. planes are shooting down bombs headed for Qatar ???

Edited

I don’t know about that. Qatar has a robust defence system and it’s definitely been very active today.

Alternativelyviewed · 28/02/2026 16:26

Pm on now saying Iran has tried to attack us here , Twenty times recently.

If it happened, and it may have done, then I wouldn’t be surprised if the regime are the ones responsible. Bombing their own citizens to generate negative publicity for Israel and U.S is something they’re more than capable of.

The strikes from the U.S and Israel are strategic. The targets are specific governmental and military targets, not random schools.

Unfortunately strikes from Israel always being strategic has been a matter of serious questioning debate for a long time now

so ill wait for proof before I judge thanks

Meanwhile the number of children killed in the school bombing has increased to 85 ( obvs no 3rd party verification atm )

TheFilliesWillRiseAgain · 28/02/2026 16:35

Iran have just said they've launched 1,200 missiles today .. the actual number is believed to be 35.

If you think a primary school was bombed because Iran have said so then there's a bridge I'd like to sell you

Damn … that might have been their last 35 missiles too.

AlwaysRightISwear · 28/02/2026 16:38

I can't help wondering how all the smug expats in UAE etc are feeling.

AtomicBlondeRose · 28/02/2026 16:38

They’ve launched more than 35 at Qatar alone so where that number comes from, it’s wrong.

Why would Israel target a random primary school in Iran though?

They seem to have managed being strategic in Tehran, given the amount of Iranians currently dancing in the streets cheering them on.

Is it possible the U.S and Israel bombed a school? Sure. Is it likely that the U.S and Israel would willingly risk alienating the very people currently cheering their arrival, who they have a vested interest in buildings alliances with, in order to randomly bomb a school? I think it improbable.

Holding off judgement also means not taking Iranian state media as fact.

It doesn’t have to be logical remember, it just has to be anti Israel.

Scared for themselves and their families I should imagine. It must be a really hard time for them.

Ah yes, whatever the regime says must be true. Such a superior type of government, too.

Obviously yes. I was thinking more would there be a massive return once travel is possible again.

Not meant to be unkind, a genuine query.

Then the word 'smug' was unnecessary.

AlwaysRightISwear · 28/02/2026 16:47

Ok, the expats who talked a lot about how they had moved there because it was so much safer than the UK then.

What about the parents screaming because their children were gunned down by their own government, simply for protesting?

I've seen pretty clear footage of a missile not launching properly and coming down again.
Reminds me a bit of when Hamas blew up the hospital car park.

But the pictures or Iranian protesters (sorry, "rioters") are all faked up by those evil Zionists according to your sick perspective.

They’ll likely be just fine. The missile strikes from Iran are the last gasp of a dying regime, and I believe the majority were successfully intercepted. Whole scale war is not going to break out. It isn’t in the interests of the U.A.E or any of the other Gulf States to encourage unrest.

Why the need for any unkindness at all? The word 'expats' would suffice.
