Right you clever clogs, start thinking about the next thread title. Spanish would be a good language this time round.

I think 'his finest hour' might be pushing it a bit

⚠️ Being faced with the reality of what his followers think seems to have touched a nerve.

❌ Can't face the facts.

Maybe we should heed his distrust of elections. Looks like Clacton was stolen by a useless grifter.

DuncinToffee · 04/03/2026 11:40

😂

Reform are getting desperate. They’ve just done a huge production number to announce a defector from Labour.

Sir Robin Wales.

That would be the Mayor of Newham in London starting back in the noughties in case you missed it.

On discovering that 99% of the population didn't know who he was, his agent only need 1% more to forget he was Mayor of Newham.

Una nación que olvida su pasado no tiene futuro.

Una nación que olvida su pasado no tiene futuro.

Trop vrai (Je puis ecrire en francais sens le "Google translate")

cardibach · 04/03/2026 11:57

Nice @BIWI
My favourite Churchill quote I’ve seen this morning is, ‘One can always rely on the Americans to do the right thing, but only when they’ve exhausted all the other possibilities’.
I also have a soft spot for the probably apocryphal comment when called for an important visitor, ‘Tell the Lord Privy Seal I am sealed in the privy and can only deal with one shit at a time’.

Looks at todays crop of "politicians" and weeps.

...mais je n'ai pas besoin de "Google translate" comprehend cela

BIWI · 04/03/2026 12:12

Tres bien!

cardibach · 04/03/2026 12:15

Badenoch is being sneery and hypocritical in PMQs by way of a change…

PickAChew · 04/03/2026 12:15

Who?

PandoraSocks · 04/03/2026 12:18

The irrelevant one is having trouble keeping her temper. I guess it is because she knows puerile insults wouldn't go down so well today.

cardibach · 04/03/2026 12:19

Hasn’t stopped her issuing them though - orcs and goons? How is that allowed?

PickAChew · 04/03/2026 12:19

Well misplaced response to the thread, right after a comment about Mediocrenoch.

DuncinToffee · 04/03/2026 12:20

She is awful today. Cut welfare to buy more missiles and drill more in the North Sea

Fuck you irrelevant one for scapegoating people. Poisonous idiot.

cardibach · 04/03/2026 12:21

She’s flailing quite badly here I think. Accusations of Starmer not understanding ‘his policies’ and then accusations of thinking about his job more than the national interest. He dealt with it calmly though. And the final dig about this being a defining moment for a Leader of the Opposition was excellent.

cardibach · 04/03/2026 12:22

Let’s see if Ed Davey can stop digging about it now.

Did she say that? I missed that bit.

Did she say that? I missed that bit.

She did, She said that Starmer has ‘a sea of orcs and goons’
