What is your most hated household task?

For me it's hoovering. Or vacuuming, whatever you call it.

I'd rather clean the toilet or wash the floor on my hands and knees than hoover. Bloody hate it.

Bathroom, and hoovering and mopping too actually (god I’m useless!) I do love dusting!!

Putting things away. Laundry, groceries, etc.

I don't like hoovering or washing up, my husband does those. He hates dusting, I do that.

Tidying. I love hoovering actually but I despise having to tidy first.

Putting the food shopping away is my most hated.

Cooking & washing up.

Hoovering. I quite like sweeping. Hoovering can piss off. We have a Eufy which makes things a bit better but it’s never enough.

One of my favourite jobs is descaling the kettle and I like folding laundry.

Hoovering and mopping

The top spot goes to ironing (too hot, takes far too long, and I just don't have the patience for it). Second to that is washing up (I have a dishwasher now). Third is vacuuming the stairs (who thought plug sockets so far apart were a good idea?! I am hoping to get one fitted in between, so that I don't have to unplug it twice per vacuuming session!)... and unblocking the 'anti-hair roll bar' that gets full of dog hair in no time at all!

I hate vacuuming too. Therefore I neglect and do it infrequently and it takes longer and is harder. Vicious cycle!

Ironing, I cannot bear it.

Picking up other peoples dirty laundry off the floor and putting it in the laundry basket 1 foot away.

Housework.

Meal planning.

Bathroom. Hate it and do it as little as possible.

Washing up. Don’t have a dishwasher or room for one. The second I can afford to buy a house, I’m following it up with a commercial fucking dishwasher as my next purchase.

Putting away clean laundry. I hate it so much. I tell myself every time that next time I’ll put it away right away, but then six weeks later I’m spending 4 hours putting away piles of laundry.

Hoovering the stairs. So awkward with my heavy hoover and does my back in.

Everything apart from doing the laundry.

Ironing. Nothing in my house comes close to my hatred of ironing.

Meal planning and cooking. Hate them both with a passion.
Favourite is folding laundry, find it very relaxing.

Hanging washing on the clothes horse..hate it.

Oh really? Because I don't mind bathroom cleaning or hoovering but I just hate dusting. You have to move things and it gets dusty again so quickly. I hoover minimum 3 times per week and I'm embarrassed to say that dusting maybe once a month I so loath it😬
