Who would you want to replace Prue now she is retiring from GBBO

Are there any chefs/cooks that you think would be a good replacement now she has decided to retire? I can’t think of any of the current to chefs who could do it.

Paul is very dry and I think a lot of people dont get that

He's not a chef, he's a baker, from bakers, so I think he should remain personally

No, just thought it was a silly response - people can dislike others for rational reasons, you know, not just 'ooh, you don't get it'.

Of course you might not think he's either sexist or patronising, and that's perfectly fair, but I doubt the issue is that he's got such a wonderful dry wit that those of us who dislike him just can't understand it.

I'd quite like it to be her, she'd be laughing all through the show. 😆

It looks like it will be Nigella, and I think she's a good choice.

I definitely think of her as a baker, one of the first books I bought of hers was 'Domestic Goddess' which is all about baking, lovely recipes.

Definitely interested to see what the chemistry will be like with her and PH… he’s always struck me as having his female favourites… But I do think Nigella will be witty in a posh way, which will work. I’m excited to see how this pans out. 🧁
