Who would you want to replace Prue now she is retiring from GBBO

Are there any chefs/cooks that you think would be a good replacement now she has decided to retire? I can’t think of any of the current to chefs who could do it.

Becky Excell. Very colourful character, lovely personality.
She would be very different to Pru which I think is good - better not to try and have a New Pru.

She deserves a break? I think she’s already done vey well out of GBBO!

I love Nadiya but with her family commitments I doubt she would want to spare the time.

Agree with previous comments as to the absolute sh*tshow of stuff that is currently produced as edible. Remember when they did lovely looking savory pies? I'm on a forum with someone who has tried out a couple of times for GBBO but says the unrealistic timings = disasters/great telly.

It's got to be someone who will be a foil to Paul Hollywood and not expect to be the starry one. A previous winner would be good but would they bring to the table (pun intended) the same amount of class/experience/quality (trying to think of a better word) that Mary B and Prue have?

I think it needs to be a proper ‘expert’ like Pru and Mary, not former contestants. In fact, get Mary back!

Also agree it needs to go back to the old basics. I’m sick of the random weeks and things that are not baking!
