My daughter has a new year birthday. We have very generous friends and family. I am now the owner of about eleventy-million gift bags that are too nice to put in the recycling.

Still hung up on being a midget tbh, real female napoleon syndrome here. My whole timid personality I’m convinced is based on being shorter than everyone else.
I always felt like an overgrown child compared to the other mums when I had my first child at 16 and now with my second child I feel the same and realise it’s my height not my age.

My local pub has announced it is no longer opening on Monday lunchtimes.

I’ve run out of Christmas chocolate and treats. And I’m not doing any kind of January exclusions. Totally first world and selfish !

I have bought a new phone and have fotgotten my banking app number 🙄

I am 4ft 11 so i hear you, although i am now mid50s and heading to "little old lady" territory !

I’ve got a cupboard full, come and help yourself.

Mine is that I’ve got a cold and my exciting week consists of cleaning, tidying and sitting in roadworks 🥱🥱

I'm WFH and cold. But I CBA to go downstairs to turn the heating on.

Same height here. I remember when i complained to my mother about getting picked on she told me to stick up for myself and used to say things like “the taller they are the harder they fall” and “giraffes aren’t actually as tough as they look”

I found out the hard way she was talking nonsense 😂

Absolute rubbish isn't it, i was mistaken for a school child when i was walking home from an after school club with my Dd a teacher shouted us back because we couldn't leave without an adult !

The homemade soup my mum made for me is too hot so I'm having to wait until it cools down to eat it and I'm bored

I had one too many glasses of barolo last night and now I’ve got a slight headache on my first day back at work

Still too much cheese and champagne left over from christmas. I want to eat and drink it all but diet + dry jan. I actually threw out the left over lobster.

Whyyyyyy 😭😭😭

I'm having to do all the dishes by hand until the new dishwasher is installed next week.

I have too many plans for January and no time to loll about, which I was assured is what January is for.

Im doing a jigsaw ( 500 pieces) not done one for years.. I have managed to do all the outside except one piece .. and can l the buggery find it in the box. ( Brand new jigsaw).

• Idiots fly around my village in cars with souped up engines and exhausts that bang and explode.

• The fields in the centre of my village are about to be covered in hideous new houses.

I just want peace and space and silence, but even that is too much to f-ing ask for.

I’ve put on half a stone through being greedy over Christmas!

I’ve got to stand outside while a new tyre is fitted. It’s lovely and sunny but I forgot my gloves and my hands are cold. And I need a wee.

The blanket that I'm crocheting is getting too big to sit on my small table next to the sofa and I have nowhere else to put it whilst I crochet it.

The time of my favourite Aqua aerobics class has changed so I’m debating brunch instead of breakfast or lunch on that day.

New Boden catalogue arrived today and DDog has shredded all over the floor. Cleaner not coming til tomorrow. Send help!!!
