One thing that I feel just makes me superior than most is that I am a twin mum. Can’t really explain it except that I feel like superwoman for growing 2 babies myself at once

one thing that will make me think you are cooler than most of if you’re left handed, no idea why, I just know I always wanted to be left handed when I was a kid😂

I’m an RO blood subgroup.
It’s the rarest subgroup and you can give my blood to sickle cell patients who need transfusions every 3 weeks or so.
This is not why I give blood, but it’s nice to know. I’ll be giving my 50th donation in February.

I’m very left handed, and left dominant-use my left leg to kick a ball etc.
But more impressive is I can translate doctor’s handwriting into English. Very useful in my job as a HCP

I have a very rare form of a rare disorder. My consultant was so excited and wanted me to go to Florida for medical studies, saying it could lead to a cure.

I thought this was very cool and interesting and was telling a group of people about it in a kitchen at a party once. Then someone said 'my mate has two bumholes' and noone was interested in my super rare condition any more.

Yep going with being left handed, but only for writing. All sports etc played with my right hand. Technically I could write and play table tennis at the same time. Never tried it but it sounds a doddle.

I have synaesthesia, I'm a bird whisperer, I can cook using recipes hundreds of years old and I can tell the time within a couple of minutes without having seen a clock for hours.

I’m the same, and was in my 60s when I realised that ‘the mind’s eye’ was real to most people. I never understood how witnesses could make photofit likenesses, and am hopeless at describing real people’s physical attributes.

There’s probably a positive side to this, There are bits of Maths I’m relatively hopeless at although I’m quite good at the rest of it, for instance problems involving drawings where you have to imagine parts of it, and it’s helpful to now realise why.

I’m awesome at reversing, doesn’t matter if it’s reverse parking, reversing round a corner or having to reverse all the way down the winding country road that I live on because it’s not suitable for two way traffic (if I meet an oncoming car I reverse until I get to a passing place) I’m genuinely great at going backwards in any situation just by using mirrors, going forwards can be problematic though 😂

It’s really common for people with aphantasia to be amazed when they discover other people can do this. My H only realised this in his 50s. He said when the teacher at school said, ‘now imagine in your mind’ , he thought this was just a saying and didn’t realise others were actually imagining in their mind.

The taste version of synaesthesia really is the top tier. I'd love to experience that. I have the letters/numbers/words being colours one and the calendar/space one. And also I experience/feel specific textures for different musical instruments, which people always think is quite mad. But the taste one beats all those.

I am very cool under crises - medical etc (also required in my job). My child became v unwell last year and needed an ambulance and the paramedics even commented on how calm and calming for little one I was (even though inside I was thinking oh shit oh shit oh shit).

I can read 1200-1400 words per minute when they're presented one at a time (there are examples on YouTube), and can get the gist slightly beyond that.

I am really good at finding Pizza Express in places I've never been before. Well, it impresses my DH and DS...

I am good at accents (but terrible at languages) apparently my German pronunciation is perfect and that was accordiing to my German neighbour. I am good at impersonating people to so I guess I have an ear for speech patterns and accents.

I can see right through people. It's like being able to eavesdrop on conversations you have no business hearing. Amazing memory. Human polygraph. I am also clear knowing when it comes to future scenarios. I just know what is going to happen instinctively. Oh and left handed as well.
