Just for fun!
One thing that I feel just makes me superior than most is that I am a twin mum. Can’t really explain it except that I feel like superwoman for growing 2 babies myself at once

one thing that will make me think you are cooler than most of if you’re left handed, no idea why, I just know I always wanted to be left handed when I was a kid😂

I’m the world’s best at spelling. However, no one cares 😉

Iocanepowder · 29/12/2025 22:53

My daughter has complete heterochromia (2 completely different coloured eyes) and I think she looks super cool.

NormasArse · 29/12/2025 22:57

Animals feel safe around me.

I have naturally dark, thick, straight hair that I never blow dry, straighten or dye (yet). I feel quite smug about all the time and effort I save. However pride comes before a fall and I suspect the greys will start to properly come soon.

DS is left-handed, with dark orange hair and utterly superb knowledge of all things space and maths. He's pretty cool!

I am left handed!

I used to look very cool when I smoked. I was complimented on it. Shame it was such a toxic and obnoxious habit though.

I am always impressed by people who cam click their heels. Like a 1940s Hollywood movie dancer.

Banaghergirl · 29/12/2025 23:02

I'm left handed!

Lardychops · 29/12/2025 23:02

I can speak Spanish
During my Masters degree I was approached by MI5
When I was 18 I had a brief fling with someone is now mega star famous on the telly all the time -they were only 21 and a nobody civilian then.

My DH has partial - one blue eye and one mainly brown. I also think it's super cool! His mum didn't notice till someone pointed it out when he was about 1.

Both my DCs are left handed, so is my brother and my mum was before she was forced to write with her RH and so was her mum. My DCs are adopted but I am definitely the odd one out.
However I do speak an African language that almost nobody in the UK speaks (it's very widely spoken worldwide but not a big immigrant population in the UK or any Northern countries) and I think that's quite cool.

I can't raise my eye brows.. my muscles don't work in that area.. so still at the age of 67 l don't have any frown lines.. some people think I've had botox because it makes me look younger than my age.

Chicky6 · 29/12/2025 23:10

Also people who have learned sign language to a high level

I won the RSA stage III English bronze medal in 1983. National first place, international third.
Very few know either.
Madam (or Sir), I salute you.

As do I at 53!

StuffyHuffyPuffy · 29/12/2025 23:12

After two DC and getting on in age, I can still hold in my pee for aaaaaages.

DH and I are right handed. All parents and grandparents were right handed. Both DC are left handed.

billiongulls · 29/12/2025 23:13

I'm a cat whisperer

AleynEivlys · 29/12/2025 23:14

My killer cheekbones.

Fingalscave · 29/12/2025 23:14

I'm really good at spelling and spelling words backwards. I love a spelling game and I feel great when I get them all right!

Tyburnx · 29/12/2025 23:15

I have a really wierd type of synesthesia, I can smell numbers and taste certain words

Endofyear · 29/12/2025 23:15

My parallel parking is impeccable 👌

WingBingo · 29/12/2025 23:16

Love this thread. I have a superb memory. Especially for what people have said. I can replay it in my head. Serves me very well at work

DustyMaiden · 29/12/2025 23:16

I never lose my temper, have never shouted at anyone. Children and animals come to me like I’m the pied piper.

DrCoconut · 29/12/2025 23:16

I have perfect pitch, tune instruments by ear and can remember tunes from 40+ years ago.

SwedishEdith · 29/12/2025 23:18

When I sit on the floor with my legs outstretched, I can easily put the soles of my feet flat on the floor.

LadyTyburn · 29/12/2025 23:18

Im great at creating doggerel. Rhymes, limericks, off the cuff stories for children. Absolute trash but it makes me (and others) laugh.

CapercaillieP · 29/12/2025 23:18

My daughter (21). She's very attractive, stylish and popular. I am none of those things but have decided I'm all three by association!

I think it would be cool to be fluent in French.

HopSpringsEternal · 29/12/2025 23:20

I gave birth without medical health (not through choice) and didn't freak out but remained calm and instructed DH what to do.
I come across as a bit scatty but masterminded and carried out a massive project that has had lasting national impact. Some people in the geeky world I work in know about it but not most of my friends or aquaintences .
