Shower curtain

My dad. We only had one bathroom and he was always in it when I needed the loo.

A bright yellow bathroom suite with dark navy blue tiles and carpet and pink accessories!

A paraffin heater.
We had no central heating in our house and no heating upstairs of any kind, bar the paraffin heater in the bathroom that only went on a bath night in Winter. It was freezing upstairs in the Winter, ice on the inside of the windows was common and I used to get dressed under the covers as it was too cold to get out of bed, but the bathroom was lovely and cosy when that heater was on. I was always a bit scared of it though!

My mum had a Buff Puff thing, think for the face and also soft emery board paper to remove leg hairs (?) must have taken forever !

I remember my mum had a box of tissue paper-type strips (not quite sure how to describe it) which you used to blot your lipstick. It helped the lipstick to ‘set/stay’.

Germolene.

Body Shop bath pearls. And Mr Matey.

Imperial leather soap. It would mould itself around the red and gold label as it was used up until there was just a label shaped blob left. My auntie had Cussons pearl which I thought was very fancy.

An Aladdin paraffin heater, as we had no central heating for my whole childhood.

Dsis, who I am convinced came direct from Hades, used to embed her picked toenails in the Imperial Leather.

A tin of Gumption, for cleaning the bath.
I wish you could still get it!

And a particular type of gas fire for such rooms (no central heating then) but it was only ever on when it was seriously cold.

Loved the smell of the paraffin heater.

Brown paint. Swiftly followed by orange paint when my DM discovered what colour my DF had used on the bathroom walls.

Wood panelling! We also had carpet, a mixer tap shower attachment and a jug for hair washing over the bath.
