What do women who want a family do now we all think men are useless?

It's OK for me to think 'fuck 'em'. I'm old. Been there. Done that. Had the family and the divorce.

BUT if you're heterosexual AND want a family but realise that most men (#notallmen) are not viable options, what DO you do/plan to do?

I know someone who went abroad to actively look for a partner. British men (born and raised - regardless of race) she found terribly selfish, Misogynistic, crap in bed, and just expected her (& women generally) to faun at their feet and don’t really value women. She’d read something online and just decided to go abroad.
She now lives quite happily with her husband and kids in Venezuela.

I think less drastic actions involve sperm donors, or just putting up with them and eventually end up separating! Although I think more and more women don’t want to put up with them.

Yes they may appear more traditional to you but it’s not patriarchal in the sense that a British man would expect, it’s more a cultural deference that can be entirely spiritually fulfilling for the man and woman in question. Think of it like two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle coming together to fit as one. We could certainly learn a thing or two from observing them in action.

Anecdotally, the one decent, kind, funny, interesting, non-sexist boy DD knows at school is being raised by 4 women (lesbians parents divorced and remarried). There are others, but they are outnumbered by the hurr hurr sexist bantz idiots at least 2 to 1. None of whom can cook, clean, do their own laundry and all the girls can. And all the violence at the school? Yup that too.

Another generation. It’s incredibly sad. For the boys too, unfortunately. But the female parents can raise wonderful boys.

I do think people need to differentiate between single mothers of yore - say 80's teen pregnancy stats - and single mothers through choice. This is the sector that is rising annually in UK.

You really have no clue until you step outside of it. Let me tell you something. On X formerly Twitter you can host live audio conversations in chat rooms and anyone can join as a listener, and alongside the host there are often several people who the host has on as guest speakers. Last year when I was ill and bed bound I spent a lot of time eavesdropping and taking in an interest in various random chat rooms. Like I would drop in on "Groypers" talking about MAGA, trans activists still grinding out LGBTQ+ stuff, or British Muslims discussing how to spread Islam. And other chats. I found it addictive.

...Something I heard MULTIPLE times from different groups either outside of the West or within the West but not ethnically European, was that white Western women are whores. I heard this from Indians, blacks, Arabs, Muslims. I heard it again and again. Whores whores whores yuck. White men would say it too. Then I went down a rabbit hole because wtf? On forums online, on tiktok, on Reddit. It's the same reputation.

There's genuine contempt for us, and we are seen as untouchable because of this reputation. Good for a night but not for life. Low status. It was quite shocking to begin with but I got used to it. But its venomous. And very real. We don't wait until marriage to have sex. Our parents don't care about us. We go out at Halloween on lingerie. Our dad's don't care about us. We dress in nothing. We send nudes to strangers. We use dating apps. We do porn. We are spoilt. We love to be used. We are sex hungry. We give it up for nothing. Have you seen how they behave abroad? Etc.

There's also the belief that we have ruined their own women with feminism.

So we are whores and we are the enemy.

It will sound dramatic but it genuinely struck fear in me about how if we carry on this way our culture is putting us (our daughters) in direct harm. Also, they look at white men as weak and pathetic for tolerating such things. It's just not good all around.

Now why am I saying this? do I think we should start dressing modestly for men who think we are scum, no, but I think its dumb and foolish to pretend this isn't happening, isn't an energy going around, and isn't a problem, especially as we edge towards becoming an ethnic minority, and that maybe if the rest of the world thinks we've gone too far they might be onto some truth. OnlyFans, full term abortions and record single motherhood aren't signs of a healthy society. Nor is being a Haredi or Muslim woman attacked by your husband for going outside without a burqa. So hopefully we can find a compromise and that means for a start not going on about how men are useless!

We in the West have more freedom than women elsewhere. To come on here and call men useless is so unnecessary. Most women are not 'viable options' either. Particularly in the West. Nor do I think we are useless whores. But something has to give. If anything is all so boring.

So all I ask is can we begin to Put an end to the gender spats. And start to respect each other. And listen to each other.

Times are changing. Get our acts together. We may have have messed up our relationships with each other, but we don't have to keep it going we can at least break the cycle and free our kids from the same path

This thread has made me think of one recently where a dad suggested (unasked for) to his 17yr old son that he and his friend go get top shelf magazines because the wifi was down. The point of the thread was the friend's mum complained to the OP about her husband's behaviour but there were a lot of responses saying it was ‘funny’ and chill it’s just dad/son banter type stuff. If those on that thread didn’t see the dad’s behaviour as an issue and even called out 17 yr old friend for tattling to his mum how can we women ever expect men to behave and raise their standards if we let them think their bad or inappropriate behaviour is funny? As it happens, I know three extremely gorgeous men. Two tall, dark, very fit and handsome, 6.4'', similar to Chris Hemsworth, but with dark hair. One different, but also very good looking and tall.

One is thick as mince, good-natured, but never could and still can't keep his dick in his pants. Another is similar, intelligent, but also fucks everything that moves, also a cocklodger, sponged off women all his life, never had a job. The "perfect" man does not exist, but many men are good human beings doing the best they can. Relationships always require compromises and sometimes things don't work out. We are all imperfect.

Men are not a different species, they are just people. Some people do bad things but that does not mean we can judge all of a group by the behaviour of the few.

I would add that British women get demonised somewhat in some bits of Europe too, though not as venomously. My Gen X mum came of age in the ladette 90s boom and found in her travels that Italy and some other Euro countries seemed to often see British women as sexually immoral. Obviously this kind of view has an huge double standard (I myself don't like drinking or casual sex in EITHER sex) & is never an excuse for bad treatment.
