This has been happening for weeks and I’m baffled. No bleach has been used. No bleach in or around the machine and it’s only certain hoody’s not all. I’ve had to bin so many it’s a joke. I’ve just pulled this out of the washing machine and it’s got bleach stains, nothing else in the load has stains just this? What am I missing? Anyone had this I feel like I’m going mad! I’ve added some photos to show you what I mean.

Well we still haven't found out what's causing the bleach marks on his hoodies! Which is sort of the point.

DyslexicPoster · 02/11/2025 21:23

The fuss about spelling and grammar on here is disgusting. Also the free rein to Diss people because of their culture is fair game only for gypsies? Why?

Op try washing powder see if that helps. I find that it's sometimes the liquid especially the liquid tabs. They stain the kids whites.

Anyone want to critique this person ( ie me) learning difficulties here? Rate my spelling? Then you can code a government website and I can criticise your coding and SQL skills? Or write a Biology dissertation and I can rip the shit of your programming skills and Biology knowledge?

Makes me sad really for our SEN kids. This post shows that at heart people look down in disgust on the ND and those with learning difficulties. Presume we are all thick as pig shit.

This is prime mums net unfortunately.

You could post that your child had a temperature of 39 and ask how long to wait to see if calpol works and it would descend into being about your spelling, grammar, marriage etc etc etc.

It's like the vultures waiting to pick you apart. Incels or a bunch of bitches? I'm not sure which it is tbh

tbf I’d rather be thick than like some on here. Uptight, arrogant and snooty is ugly.

OP you are clearly not thick.

Op I have spent my entire life thinking I'm useless and stupid because of people like the ones on this thread. I have a degree. Did a post grad. Worked as senior programmer for one of the most famous IT companies in the world.

I'm not stupid and neither are you clearly. People can not see beyound surface level. Dispite what woke be kind tripe everyone spouts. Shallow people only look at the cover and look down.

The bullying on this thread is just off the charts.

I have a dyslexic child and he struggles with spelling, but he is also in the top 1% of the population in the highest IQ category. I would hardly call him thick because he missed out a letter or placed an apostrophe incorrectly.

Calling OP names because of how her posts are written, is just unbelievable.

The worst part is, is that some posters have no shame about it.

Anyway OP, I do hope you get to the bottom of what is causing this. My one thought was it could be from using pods, as sometimes they don't dissolve well and the liquid ends up sticking to the fabric for a bit longer than it should.

Covacsy · 03/11/2025 11:22

All spelling and grammar bullies should be restricted to 'Pedant's Corner'.

MNHQ would then save the rest of us from their constant nit-picking and thread spoiling. Immediate deletion of any such post would be a step forward.

Going to have to hide this thread.

"He's hoody's" will forever be imprinted on my brain.

I hid it a couple of days ago, but keep getting notifications anyway.
Hmm

It was a post regarding the OP's attitude. Being proud of being arrogant is not a virtue.

iwantavuvezela · 03/11/2025 20:48

do you dry the hoody on a heated rack? this happened to DD's hoody, a very thick one, the heated rack dried the excess washing powder that hadn't rinsed off and made a mark that looked like it had a burn on it. re -washed it, all fine

"None", not "non".
