What age did you all get engaged, married, have kids and buy your first house etc?!

Just wondering really, what age you did all these things?

Also is there expectations in life to do these things?

Engaged at 24, married at 25, first child at 27, second at 30, just now bought a ‘farm’ (not quite a full on farm farm as just land, no house or buildings) to farm and build on, eventually, at 31.

31 owed my first house and moved out of my parents house
33 met my partner
35 bought a house together

36 first child
38 married
38 and pregnant with second child

19 first child (single)
32 engaged
33 married
33 first house

Engaged and married 32, baby at 33, house at 37.

Bought house and engaged at 28, married 29, kids at 31 and 33. And no no expectations these days. Back then it was marriage house kids in that order but now I really try and help people making decisions to take it easy, enjoy yourselves and don't get hung up on when you should be doing things etc

Engaged at 25, married 26. Had first dd2 a couple of months before I turned 30 and dd2 two years after that. I am now 40 and we are finally able to buy a house so I hope that's done before I'm 41!

Bought my first house (alone) at 26.
Wedding at 32.
Spent years trying to conceive but eventually adopted our first child- placed aged 1 when I was just 42.

Engaged at 24, married at 26, first child at 30, bought first house at 31, had second child at 34, bought second house at 40.

I don’t feel kids and marriage are expected these days as such. I certainly felt no pressure to do any of these things, it’s just how my life turned out. I did always want to be a homeowner, we rented for about 5 years before managing to buy and I always felt a bit inferior to my friends who were already homeowners.

Bought my first property at 21. Met my husband shortly after. We met August 1997, first dd was born june 1998! Everyone said we had no chance. Married nov 1998, 3 more children 1999, 2002, 2004.
Been together ever since. We have lived in 9 houses, 2 countries, loads of different jobs each.

I was never engaged or married; I have no children. I bought my first house aged 39 after years spent traveling for my career while renting a pied-à-terre in London. I don't regret a thing.
