What age did you all get engaged, married, have kids and buy your first house etc?!

Just wondering really, what age you did all these things?

Also is there expectations in life to do these things?

Engaged 23, bought house same year but I was now 24, next year married at 25, I moved in after returning from honeymoon, DD at 28, DS at 30

Engaged 20, married 22, 1st DC 23, 2nd DC 24, 3rd DC 26, bought a house 27. I did everything very young compared to my friends. We are 35/36 now and some of them are only just settling down and having DCs.

Bought first house age 25
Babies age 27 and 30
Divorced age 36

Is it the life I thought I’d have, no. Do I have any regrets, also no 🥳🥳🥳

Bought my first home at 32, married at 39, never wanted kids - I’m 42 now.

Engaged 15, first child 16, moved out 16, first home (rented ) 18, first home (purchased) 23.
Still not married but only 25

Busy old year, wasn't planned🙈 don't trust the pill. Still married all these years later.

Had I not got pregnant I absolutely would of slowed the hell down and concentrated on my career!!!

Married and bought my first house at 19, went through divorce and struggled to get my house back but did it in the end!

Married at 25, first baby 28* ditto bought a house, 2nd baby 31.
This was all a long time ago, though.

*I was down in my notes as an ‘elderly’ primigravida!

Bought first house at 30 ( on my own) Married at 34 ( we didn’t see the point of getting engaged at that age) .First and only child at 34. DH died after 42 years of marriage. Living in a world without him breaks my heart every day .

Got together 23. Engaged, 23. Married, 24. Child, 25. Bought a house...never! Renting and have decided we will continue to do so until youngest is at least 18 ( 11 atm) as we want to spend our money and enjoy the kids childhoods with travel and fun instead of save for a deposit.

Bought first house at 32, baby at 42, never engaged, never married.

Never been engaged (and won’t in current relationship) first baby at 20, then 24 and last at 30. Bought a house at 28 but that was all down to OH.

Apart from the kids bit I don’t feel like I’ve achieved anything with my life, always feeling behind others 😂😅 house doesn’t feel like my achievement.
