What age did you all get engaged, married, have kids and buy your first house etc?!

Just wondering really, what age you did all these things?

Also is there expectations in life to do these things?

Married at 29
First baby at 31
Will be buying a house at 35

I would of loved to of got the house first, but I have an addiction to having 3 holidays a year!

Never bought a house.

I can't see them happening now tbh!

Engaged at 18, married and bought first house at 21. Second house at 23. First child at 31 (our choice, parents had given up hoping 😁) Third house at 32 which is where we are now, 41 years later. Now we need to downsize, which will be an awful wrench.

Engaged on my 23rd birthday, bought our home at 24, married at 26, first child at 31 (no struggle, we just didn't want to rush into having kids young!), now 34 and want a second child but have now had a few losses.

1st house at 30, married at 37, second house at 38, separated at 40.

Engaged at 24, bought first house the same year. Married at 26. Children at 29, 30 and 33. Four house moves since, but still married to the same man. We're in our early 60s now. Different times back then.

24, 25, 28. Bought first house at 25 when I got married.

Never wanted marriage or engagement.

Been single 12 years and not going to change it.
No regrets.

Bought first house at 23. Engaged, then married at 24.
No children (happily), but friends who followed similar paths waited until early 30s for first child.
But that was 35 years ago (still married). I would be horrified if an educated young person got married at 24 now - it's really not necessary. But times have changed.
