No-one is mentioning Trump's stroke

CharlotteCChapel · 12/09/2025 09:12

It's like tumbleweed out there. During the live televised 9/11 remembrance service Trump's face drooped on one side.

No-one in the mainstream media seems to be mentioning it.

Ive only seen it mentioned on IHIP and the Meidas Touch.

The thing is, even if you were to give examples, then it would be ‘cherrypicking’ or ‘pushing a narrative’ or they’d start attacking the source or whatever.

It’s all so predictably tedious.

Oh what like how everything CK said has been "taken out of context"?

Sorry, should have added ‘Whataboutery’ to my list 🙄

He was a good person, sorry you believe these bad faith interpretations of his beliefs.

Those were his beliefs though.

nomas · 12/09/2025 12:17

GoldThumb · 12/09/2025 11:54

Why?

The lefts reaction all over social media shows us very clearly this is accurate.

This is what they advocate and believe.

I know this because they’re telling us.

The bloodlust they’re displaying is horrifying

How would social media users know who killed Kirk?

Is this your idea of justice? Guilty verdicts dealt by the internet?

What is wrong with you?

He said all of those things and he believe them. At simple Google searches will show you.
Anyone who supports the harm of innocent people is not a good person

MaryMungoMidgley · 12/09/2025 12:17

I'm not worried about Vance, imo the cult won't survive the loss of its leader.

How is that whataboutery? I was literally asked if I had read the threads about him. Your buddy whatabouted first.

There’s a lot I disagree with Kirk on, tbh.

I’m pro-choice, for one. Yet even I can recognize he was a good person.

No, he wasn't 'a good person' - mamy of his views negated the term 'good' being used to describe them.

The problem is that you lot will give some wild misinterpretation of something he said.

You could just be truthful and say his Christian morality doesn’t appeal to you. Or that you disagree with him on abortion. Or that you don’t like his comparison of gay lifestyles to addiction.

But no. You actually prefer to willfully twist the stuff he says.

I never said they knew who killed him, I said their reactions demonstrated the ‘crush the person, not the beliefs’ mentality.
That they agree with killing people they don’t agree with.
They relish it, actually.

To quote the MN classic - They've told me who they are, and I believe them.

'You lot' - you mean a mixed group of people, including folk like me who have watched numerous videos of his?
You agree with some of his views and thus decide he's 'a good person'?

Aerom · 12/09/2025 12:23

Not forgetting that he nicked the Club World Championship trophy. Chelsea have a replica. Then he was on the podium when Chelsea lifted the trophy - Cole Palmer giving that WTF look. Plus Trump pocketed a winners medal which is only for players, managers and a few coaches.

The CWC trophy is on show in the Oval Office.

I don't agree with murdering CK, or anyone.
I also don't agree with pretending his public persona was remotely likeable, decent or good either though.
The man held some horrible views and was attempting to target young adults with his propaganda.

How is that whataboutery? I was literally asked if I had read the threads about him. Your buddy whatabouted first.

You asked where the revelry was, and you were told there were examples on the thread.

Then you started saying ‘what like the things CK said being ‘taken out of context’’ Which has absolutely nothing to do with examples of revelry.

And now you will probably pivot to discuss the meaning of Whataboutery or some other straw man and say nothing of the comments.

Very predictable 🙄

Out of context clips don’t count. I doubt you watch any of his stuff at length, because you seem like a leftist.

I am right-wing so am familiar with his work and see him pop up now and then on the RW ecosystem. So I’d say I have a better understanding of his views than you

It doesn't need to be twisted, it's bad already. 🙃

I asked for examples of "revelling", you then asked if I had read the other threads. I said I have, and have not seen any "revelling". Quite how that is "whataboutery" I don't know. If there's so much revelling, you could surely find some with ease?

The clips are just as bad in context. You agree with what he says, that's up to you. But that doesn't make the quotes "out of context"

You've no idea how much I've watched, or my leanings, do don't even attempt that sort of shut down.

But the hateful rhetoric is coming from the right wing political space in the USA, not the Democrats.

Trump said this is 'left political violence', Laura Loomer said 'every left wing organisation needs to be shut down', Elon Musk said 'the left is a party of murder' and a number of prominent Republicans have said 'This is war'.

All of this hateful language will inevitably lead to violence.

Whilst Biden, Harris and Obama have condemned the murder and used calm language.

So how can you say the left relish this with a straight face?

That’s your opinion, like I said, I don’t really care if people think anyone is a good or bad person.

And as long as people keep it that, without wishing illness, or death, or celebrating death, or celebrating the thought someone is suffering with a stroke, then I have no issue.

But in this very thread you have people wishing and celebrating the thought of someone having a stroke, and they are not ‘good’ people either.

Aerom · 12/09/2025 12:31

Trump has a serious body odour problem. You see people near him wiping their noses, facing the other way and when have finished their meeting etc - show a face of relief.
