No-one is mentioning Trump's stroke

It's like tumbleweed out there. During the live televised 9/11 remembrance service Trump's face drooped on one side.

No-one in the mainstream media seems to be mentioning it.

Ive only seen it mentioned on IHIP and the Meidas Touch.

If Trump dies then we'll all have to suffer that appalling blister Vance.

It’s a dilemma. I sometimes wonder if Trump chose Vance because he thinks standing next to Vance makes him look better.

Have you forgotten just how nasty and spiteful Trump was towards Biden when he was looking ill and frail?

He mocked and taunted 'Sleepy Joe' mercilessly.

And presumably you recognised that that was a disgusting way to behave? So why do it yourself?

GleisZwei · 12/09/2025 09:52

EasternStandard · 12/09/2025 09:47

People are losing it. Celebrating all kinds of things, whether it’s a stroke or the Charlie Kirk stuff.

I'm not celebrating any deaths, but I don't/won't miss the public presence of a couple of unpleasant white men. Of course I appreciate their families will mourn them. Remember when Maggie Thatcher died? We felt for her family, but many were glad to see her go (and she was nowhere as bad as Trump, in terms of humanity).

Nobody here is taunting trump, but we're allowed to not like a narcissist. Biden was not fit for the job, but he's not a narcissist.

Allthegoodnamesarechosen · 12/09/2025 09:28

Blimey, how horrid. I wonder how you will expect people to react when one of your family becomes ill?

Not in the way Trump reacted to Biden's cancer diagnosis, or Jake Tapper

CarterBeatsTheDevil · 12/09/2025 09:54

Does he look very different to the way he normally looks? I'm not a fan, but I wouldn't say that his face is obviously more droopy on one side than usual.

Thissickbeat · 12/09/2025 09:54

He sounded really weird when talking about Charlie Kirk yesterday. I was only listening to the TV and it was so unlike him that I hopped up to look to check it was Trump on the TV. He sounded slow and slurry.

I'm not behaving in the same way as Trump - I gave my observations of his physical demeanour and didn't mock or taunt his appearance.

And the attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband, the murder of Melissa Hortman and her husband, Biden's cancer diagnosis

A couple of weeks ago there was all this speculation that Trump had died because he disappeared for a couple of days (which he never does). He's also been reluctant to leave Washington for a while, which some are suggesting is because he needs to be near the Presidential hospital or whatever it is. He clearly had a stroke, but it'll never be admitted because he's an old-school authoritarian and they always have to be indestructible Strong Men.

Next week’s state visit to the UK is still going ahead though. If some excuse is found to cancel that, then I’ll believe he is significantly unwell.

yossell · 12/09/2025 09:58

Just hilarious how, the moment Trump is treated with the lack of empathy and cruelty that he shows to anyone who disagrees with him, all the pearl-clutchers come out to lecture us on decorum and humanity and good manners. Newsflash -- Bekind doesn't mean bekind to rapists, racists and child molesters. And if that causes hurty feelings well: grow a pair, snowflakes.

He's clearly aging and not in perfect health but a drooping face on its own is not enough to diagnose a stroke.

People want Trump gone so they're jumping on any slight thing that suggests he might be becoming physically incapable.

Why did that bother you?

You obviously have the same spiteful streak in you, so you presumably understand his sentiments exactly

Then we should be more Michelle Obama, when they go low. We go high.

wiminny · 12/09/2025 10:06

He is an older man, and is probably getting very tired of the Presidential life these days. Who knows if he's had a TIA, full stroke, is on meds, has Bell's Palsy, hasn't had his fix of Diet Coke that day, is just tired and fed up, anything. If it quietens him down and leads to a calmer time that's not a bad thing. The danger is that if it is cognitive or life altering, he might go even more nuts than he is already!

As pp said, if the upcoming State visit is postponed or cancelled, then we will know something's up.

He might "arrange" for Charlie Kirk's funeral to coincide with his foreign trip so he can go to it and not travel abroad. Would he be in attendance at that though anyway I wonder?

I know right? What is is with America and elderly men?

It's exactly this isn't it? They'd rather have a half dead old white bloke than any sort of woman or brown skinned person.

carmak · 12/09/2025 10:06

Looks nothing like a stroke to me, and I'm very familiar with stroke sufferers.

I think if he cancels a state visit with the king, the first president to get two state visits, for a funeral that would probably be arranged around him if he asked, then he is not well at all and has found a handy excuse to avoid travel.

There was no mocking in @Westfacing posts.

Can’t stand Trump and hated Kirk but there’s a difference between hating someone and wishing them dead.

I agree. Women, please be nice to pussy-grabber Trump

BlueandPinkSwan · 12/09/2025 10:14

Couldn't give a shit what happens to Trump and Kirk was a complete knob on so many levels so don't give a shit about him either.
Unfortunate for his wife and kids but why the hell was she married to such a twat in the first place unless she believed the bollocks he used to spew.
I don't care who slags me off for it because now I've had my opinion I won't be back.
Just remember though, you have yours and I have mine we will probably differ, it's no big deal in the grand scheme of things.
