Ageing neck - what do you use?

Sussexswain · 20/08/2025 16:58

I recently turned 40 and from about 39 I started noticing that my neck was ageing faster than anywhere else on my body. For a year I have been using the following and see no difference

  • this works - perfect cleavage and neck serum
  • beauty pie - uber youth neck and chest serum
  • elevate collagen - for three months bow

any other products that people have found that really work?

I'm 68 and every morning I spend ages pulling my neck and jawline back to where it shouldn't be but if it were there I'd look 38.

Unfortunately there's so much to pull up I'd have nothing left on my torso.

StriVectin TL Advanced Tightening Neck Cream Plus

swear by it. Amazing results

I use a combination of this and a Nuface machine. Keeping the wolves from the door.

And to the ‘aging is normal’ poster, good for you. I feel like that about literally every other part of my body. If I want to work on my neck, and spend my own money, why not? I assume you don’t do anything else like make-up? In which case, weird thread to hang out on!

Worked for Marie A I guess

Azio, just been on Dragons Den

I’m following with interest OP as I have the same issue. I’ve seen the prai cream recommended on other threads. I’ve also heard morpheus8 and other laser treatments can work well but obviously they are more expensive and invasive so I plan to try the creams first!

Did nothing for me. I was very disappointed.

saxonyv · 20/08/2025 20:18

Can tretinoin be used on the neck with the same results?
I haven’t used it but see lots of people recommending it for wrinkles etc so wonder if it’ll have the same effect.
watching with interest as I’ve got the start of a turkey neck (although atm just making sure I’m hydrated really helps - if I don’t drink it’s definitely more noticeable)

JillMW · 20/08/2025 20:18

Keep hydrated. Ayurvedic oil, exercise and factor 50. I am a lot older and it seems to have worked, I do wear a silicone patch for a couple of hours if I feel chlorine in a swim pool has dehydrated me.

I used the prai and saw no difference but the it works one is quite effective. It's definitely helped a little.

That’s interesting as I’ve found no difference with it works - although I like the feel and fragrance of it. I guess maybe different things work for different skin types 😪

Just had a look at the Trustpilot reviews for Prai, and they aren’t great, unfortunately.

mustytrusty · 20/08/2025 20:28

I've got something in a purple container from Trinny London which I've been using and I think it's shown an improvement. It was pricey but it's lasted me for ages as you only need about half as much as they suggest on the container. Can't for the life of me think what it's called.

greengreyblue · 20/08/2025 20:28

Trinny London does one called Elevator but not tried it. Maybe check reviews.

mustytrusty · 20/08/2025 20:29

It's this trinnylondon.com/uk/products/the-elevator

Was wondering if anyone had tried trinny London! It’s always popping up on my instagram feed

I use acceptance. I'm in my 60s, it serves me well!

FableLies · 20/08/2025 20:32

My neck depresses me. It looks saggy and crepey yet the rest of me looks fine. I'm wondering if it was because I used trent on it for a while. Or because I look down at books all the time. I'm mid 40s. Want a neck lift!

NewsdeskJC · 20/08/2025 20:34

Teams soft focus setting help hugely for remote working

Jotunn9 · 20/08/2025 20:39

Botox.

I feel ya! Yeah my face hasn’t aged as quickly as my neck and it really bothers me whenever I look in the mirror. I used to say I would never go under the knife (no judgement - just a bit squeamish) but now I totally would!

It’s not recommended for the neck. I burnt my neck using tret on it.

Poopeepoopee · 20/08/2025 20:43

Another vote for Prai

I find that the best thing to improve the look of a sagging neck is to breathe on the mirror.

HA😂

Anyway op i put some elf serum.and e45 cream at night it makes me feel better about it, I has a great neck at 40.<sigh>
