And lastly not so much a sweet.. Lucky bags they promised so much and delivered so little.

100% hated flying saucers and still do. Taste and feel like eating cardboard.

I ate so many parmaviolets on a pgl holiday as a kid, that I threw them all back up in bed that same night. I can't even look at them now without feeling sick...

@Natsku I've never heard of liquorice sauce but I googled it and it does seem to be more of a Scandinavian thing, although it is available online here.

I may have to take the plunge as ice cream or plain cheesecake with a full coating drizzle of liquid liquorice sounds too good!

I hated all sweets and still do, apart from the old fashioned cola cubes and liquorice pipes (with the burning ember at the end)! Couldn't stand the paper sweets, shrimps, camel, hard boiled sweets like pips, candy cigarettes, flying saucers and chocolate tools ( they used to make my throat burn!)

Definitely give it a go!

Went to the US and bought some Wintergreen chewing gum - it tasted like Germoline.🤮
