How many countries have you visited?

My kids were playing around with AI and learned that the average person on earth has been to less than one country (other than their country of residence..)

And for the UK specifically, 9. (Point something…)

I’m just being pointlessly nosy, mostly because I thought it would be much lower. (For example, a lot of people I know go back to the same destination year on year..)

Maybe 10? I'm aged 45. I've been to France the most times, to lots of different areas.

I've only left Europe once, to go to the USA. Italy and Turkey are still on my bucket list. Would also have loved to visit Russia but not these days obviously!

33 countries and I’m 51. I’m trying to do 3 new countries a year.

I’m 40 and think I’m at 26 countries.
Quite a few I have had multiple visits (20+ to France to see my dad, would take the kids quite a lot during school holidays! 10+ to Spain to see my mum) - most of those trips would have been nicer to have had more options but I didn’t want to keep in touch with my parents and the kids are really close to them both now so I don’t regret it although generally I find France a bit crap and don’t ever want to go back 😂
We’ve had several family holidays to various parts of Italy and I’d go back to different parts still.

I live in Canada and have been to the USA, Australia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Albania, the Philippines, S Korea and Japan.

In my 40s and 26 countries counting UK as 1. I work with people who have done many many more. The people I know who are in the 40+ countries range also seem to have moved around for work/uni which I was never brave enough to do. Mine were a mix of holidays as a kid, travelling and city breaks in my 20s and then work. My kids have done 3 as my husband is scared of flying. We still explore a lot now but of the UK.

I’m on about 25 but DH is on over 130, that count up was a decade ago so a few more. I am 58, he is 56. DS has been to around 15, he is 24.

I’ve been to 111/195 countries in the world. This includes every country in Europe.

I’ve watched a lot of sport abroad which accounts for the majority of the 111.

I visited most of them in my 20’s and 30’s but am now in my 40’s with a young DS so won’t be adding many to the list for a while although look forward to revisiting a lot of them with him as he grows up.

About 27 (will have to get the 'Been' app as keep leaving some off and counting others twice). Enjoyed living and and working in 5 of those for extended stays and wish my dc could have the opportunity to do the same.

24 but 25 if you count the fact that the first time I went to Germany as a kid we went to both west and east Germany. That was a fun border crossing with a caravan full of French wine.
