Condoms in husband’s work suit

Trying to think rationally and not jump to conclusion.

Today my husband wore his work suit, that he hasn’t worn for a year. He asked me if I could check his back pockets as there was something there he couldn’t get out, and I pulled out condoms.

He giggled at the sight of them and when I asked, he said he didn’t know why they were there.

Could there any innocent explanation?

It’s the same brand that we use, so it couldn’t have been handed at an event or whatever.

You can't leave without asking him directly and getting to the bottom of it. Tell him it's weird and you need a straight answer or you're going to have to assume the worst.

Don't let him pull the wool over your eyes. I found an open box of condoms hidden behind my ex's bedside table. Not the brand we used. First he claimed he'd confiscated them from some children at a party. Then claimed he'd never seen them before. Then claimed he used them by himself. Turned out he'd bought and used them while I was in hospital having treatment for cancer (the idiot used my clubcard when buying them and I found a record of the purchase). Does he think you're stupid?

Could he have brought them to use with you, do you use condoms and if you do is it him he normally buys them? If yes then yeah he could have brought them on his lunch break at work and had them in his pocket. If not then I can’t think of any other explanation other than what your probably already thinking, sorry.

What is the best for date on the condom's you have in? Could he have worn the trousers on a date night with you in the hope of getting lucky while out the house?

He was away from their new home, on his own. He was having a farewell party while his wife was a way away with their kids. He had their old apartment to himself.

What possible reason would he have to take condoms out with him under those circumstances unless he was having/planning to have sex with someone at work, from work or whilst he said he was at work but wasnt.

Either they remain at home or they go on a trip which you attend. Anything else and he planned to shag someone else.

I'd say this to him straight out and ask what the fuck he has done. If he has done anything, he'll lie though.

Please don’t be naive to this. He is very clearly cheating. No married man walks around with condoms in his suits unless he’s using them actively while out and about.

If he definitely looked caught out at condoms being present in his pocket, you'd might as well ask calmly for an explanation rather than any messing.

After the rotten week, I might go with the no bullshit approach. Basically, you having those condoms on you makes it look like you're having an affair. Are you or do you have an actual sensible explanation for this? If not, then I'm working on the assumption you are cheating on me.

they could have fallen out of a drawer when he was getting ready for work or coming home to get changed and he just picked them up.

When his wife is living somewhere else for a week with his kids so is very unlikely to turn up unannounced. When he has a party coming up? When it would have been quicker to just toss them back into the drawer they fell out of?
