Not all that light-hearted, this one: people getting involved in discussions on Big Issues to argue entirely, repeatedly, from their personal and emotional perspective. Policies shouldn't be based on individuals' sad feelings and it's pretty despicable to dismiss wider considerations. I'd ban posters after two heart-rending pleas on any one topic.

I'm well in favour of ban-hammering OP quotes! Also walls of unbroken text and posts with minimal punctuation they make it so hard to read and understand what the poster wants to say especially if it involves a sequence of events that turn out to be important but were buried in a whole bunch of feelings if you know what I mean I don't know about you but it's difficult to reply to a spate of word vomit stream of consciousness is a valid literary style but there's a reason it's considered among the most challenging styles to pull off successfully and in any case it isn't usually devoid of breaks and punctuation I mean this is just so frustrating wouldn't you agree .!

I hate when people correct other peoples grammar or spelling, like they’re superior than them.
Not everyone is from England and some have disabilities which could impact their writing.

I too hate how sexist it can be on here sometimes.
I always wish that sexes weren’t given because some posters replies are purely based on the sex of each person.

What worries me is when it’s supposedly from someone educated (they’ll mention something about studying for a new qualification or having met their DH at law school). It hasn’t been too long since I left education, but have standards slipped that much?! I often wonder if they’re just AI bots. In any case, I have to stop reading and hide the thread.
