He’s had a stroke following a number of open heart surgeries to repair and replace his heart valves. I can’t breathe, I overheard them say terminal stroke. I love him so much.

Oh my goodness, I can't imagine what you are going through, agree with @Glitterybee I'm also not sure if you are religious but my prayers are for you and yours tonight. I too would come and sit with you and @StScholastica at this time if I could and hold your hand. Don't give a second thought about crying on the train. I have done it on a few occasions, cry like no one is watching you will need the strength when you get to the end of this train ride xxx ❤️ my thoughts are with you x

So sorry @Stickygloop sending you strength for tomorrow and the coming days. I have recently lost my DH suddenly at a young age, if you want to DM at all xx

You may not pray, you may not have any religion, but I think we all need something at a time like this, something to hold on to, to comfort us, to make some sense of it all, although there is no sense to it.

I pray. I'm not religious in the sense of attending any church, but I believe in calling out to someone. You may not, and that is fine, I will pray for you and your family, and especially your darling husband, that you will all find some peace eventually.
