Scampi, chips and beans. A quick air fryer job as I've had a busy day at work. It was delicious!

NewHeaven · 06/02/2025 19:40

Stir fried noodles with chicken left over from last night's roast dinner.

dontforgetme · 06/02/2025 19:40

WillimNot · 06/02/2025 19:43

DD has finally at near on 18 decide to learn to cook, so had a first attempt at Bolognese.
It was lovely. I said so on text as I'm working downstairs in the bar, and they sent back that Gordon Ramsey should be scared

Monstermashermashedthemonster · 06/02/2025 19:44

Kids had a simple dinner nuggets, waffles and mixed veg.

I just had leek and potatoe soup with a bread roll.

TulipTuesday · 06/02/2025 19:45

For dinner I had an egg and tomato sandwich on seeded bread.

My tea is currently in the oven. Fishcakes and potato croquettes and still can’t decide between garden or mushy peas with it. Just me here tonight so it’s a quick freezer tea.

PersephoneSmith · 06/02/2025 19:46

Chicken madras, basmati rice and garlic naan. Home made, not from a takeaway. Awesome(if I do say so myself)

Endofyear · 06/02/2025 19:47

We had harissa lamb leg steaks with roasted veg couscous and green beans. Minty yoghurt on the side. It was yummy ☺️

Family of four here today we had to drive 45 mins straight from the school and 45 mins home so we stopped off at McDonalds on the way home I'm ashamed to say

Please don’t be ashamed. All food options are valid (especially on this thread)

idontlikefruitpastilles · 06/02/2025 19:48

Galettes!

MadCattery · 06/02/2025 19:49

American here, so dinner in about three hours. We will have oven baked barbecue chicken, green beans with bacon and cheesy twice baked potatoes. I had a bag of potatoes that were smaller than usual, so I baked a few this weekend and mashed with cheese, milk, green onions, stuff back in the jackets and can heat them any night. They freeze well, too, and I’ll bake them until nicely browned.

sansou · 06/02/2025 19:55

I had leftover bolognaise (in honour of the spag bowl thread) and used some to make a lasagne with an incredibly rich cheese sauce to use up manchego end bits and leftover creme fraiche and mascarpone - the result was yum not surprisingly. Will turn the remaing sauce into chilli tomorrow adding roasted tomatoes/aubergine/red pepper to pad it out.

Favouritefruits · 06/02/2025 19:56

Jealous ☹️

GiddyRobin · 06/02/2025 19:57

The kids ate earlier, they had homemade chilli and jacket potatoes. They'd had a busy one. DH and I weren't hungry but in a bit he's making these tuna steaks he's put in soy sauce, rice with wasabi, griddled tenderstem broccoli and asparagus. Or something like that anyway - can't wait!

Tarkan · 06/02/2025 19:58

Went to Wetherspoons with DH as I'm struggling to stand and cook at home right now after falling out of bed the other night and hurting my shoulder and back badly. I was hoping a gentle walk to town for stuff I needed would ease things off but it hasn't really.

Had a macaroni and chips but I added my own sriracha and a pepperami to the macaroni as it's a bit too plain for me normally.

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 06/02/2025 19:59
