DH is cooking.
It will be a box of something I have pre-prepared for emergencies, on toast.
He's a lovely man in all the ways except cooking Smile

Haven’t had it yet but I’m trying a chicken in mustard sauce recipe I saw in one of the Sunday supplements. It’s in the oven.

I've had a bit of a stressful week so I'm ashamed to admit I stopped and picked up a rotisserie chicken, a baguette and some butter. Hopefully there'll be some chicken left for my lunch tomorrow but no guarantees at this stage.

Why are you ashamed? It's just food.

I spent 50 years of my life being ashamed of having a normal person's appetite in the face of two parents with severe food issues.

It's food. It's nourishing. You deserve to be nourished.

Huckyfell · 06/02/2025 19:22

Meat feast.

Greentableleg · 06/02/2025 19:24

Chicken curry. Tasted lovely but now my hair stinks of curry after cooking it!

frozendaisy · 06/02/2025 19:24

GordonRamsey · 06/02/2025 19:27

Turkey dinosaurs nuggets and two boxes of microwave chips (one box is NOT enough).

Preceded by a bottle of premier cru bottle of Chablis, with a large bag of Chilli Chips.

Loverly.

Marylou2 · 06/02/2025 19:27

Bagels, cream cheese, smoked salmon with lots of lemon..Favourite very fast dinner.

Pork belly pot roast (with crackling), roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. We’re eating in about 5 minutes. I also have some Reece’s pieces ice cream that I might crack open for pudding.

Shmee1988 · 06/02/2025 19:38

I'm on a diet and everyone else wanted pizza. So I got a high protein tortilla wrap, topped with low calories green pesto, low fat mozzarella, sweet chilli ham, red onions, mushrooms and a tiny splash of garlic and chilli oil. Half the calories of a pizza and just as delicious !!!

HoraceCope · 06/02/2025 19:39
